I was searching through a website that only displays properties that are being foreclosed on. In my city there's a 2 bedroom, 2 bath house for sale for $1959. I know the area where the home is located very well. It's a poor community, where the homes cost around $50,000-$150,000.

So, even for the area it's in, the price is extremely low. I haven't contacted the sellers, but something tells me that there's probably some major damage on the home that will cost way more than the selling price.

If the deal is legit, I could buy it and make up the money I spent within 2 or 3 months of renting it out.Have any of you encountered deals like this that seem too good to be true?
