Hello,

I have read The Success Principles my Jack Canfield three times now and it is a solid read. I skimmed through it to ensure that wasn’t any “do what you love!” Or “follow your passion!” BS and there really isn’t.

Am excited to read Principles: Life and Work by Ray Dalio, as it is a highly recommended read on the forum.

Has anyone ever read both The Success Principles and Principles: Life and Work?

If so, which one do you like better?

i have read the success principles but not the other one.

the problem with these books and gurus is that they don't talk about reality

they say what people want to hear and not what they need to hear

because reality is not politicaly correct

reality is that life is a war to win.

these books just say , to get to the point, " be the nice guy, work hard and you will be rich "

this is the fairy tale for the 6 yeards old kids

how many people are doing that without going anywhere in life ?

millions of people

so the best books for the problem of life are strategy books, not gurus books, all these BS

this is the author to read :

Amazon.com: Robert Greene: Books

Success Principles is very simple. Anybody can read with a 5th Grade Reading level. They're basic success principles for anything.

Principles by Dalio is different. It's more algorithmic. He lays out the "priciples" that he has used in certain areas of his life. Once they're presented like an algorithim. I do like the life story about how he used to be homeless and now leads a multibillion dollar hedgefund.

Two completely different books.
