I have my old Ferrari Wheels on sale on craigslist so of course there are going to be scammers out there. I thought I'd post this one I got today.
I actually emailed once with this buyer a few days ago. I could tell he was a scammer immediately because he's an idiot.
First he said that he had to work and couldn't come see them. Which would imply that he lived nearby. Then he said he needed them shipped someone where.
Second, my price includes free shipping, but he insists on paying for it. What a nice guy!
If you look at the emails below, the names keep changing as do the address locations. I also never get an actual address to ship the wheels to.

First I get this email that is supposedly from Paypal showing that I received a payment for $2930.00.

I was just about to make the payment when i had this little problem with the picking up. I got an email from my agent, He said he won't come and pick it up unless i pay him the agent commission fee first in order to be able to schedule a pick up time. So i have to ask you to help me with the pick up fees, i will include the $900.00usd they charged to pick them up (1st class Service) to the payments i will send through PayPal. After i have made the payments and it has been confirmed by PayPal. I will need you to help me send the $900.00usd to my pick up agent through Western Union Money Transfer. The western union money transfer can be made at a post office near to you and there is always a western union agent in most post offices or online at www.westernunion.com . I will be making the payments shortly and will email you as soon as it has been done..

So I made a total payment of $2,930. $1995 for (Asanti Wheels and Tires for Ferrari 360 or 430 - $1955 Shea and Hayden in Scottsdale), $900 for the shipping company, and $80 for whatever Western Union will be charging you to send the money to them. Please let me know as soon as you send them the money, Here is the shipping company details for you to send the $900.
