Current stats:

- Finally got the balls to start putting myself out there in January 2023.
Intro:
Last year, I accomplished nothing. Sure, I almost doubled my salary at work, and moved to the town I've been dreaming about since for the past 5 years... but I didn't accomplish anything of my own. I've always been an "achiever" somewhat, but only within pre-existing frameworks of . What I've always truly longed for is to build something of my own. I can't say I've found my true path or my true fastlane business yet; but after a lot of self reflection at the end of 2023, I decided,
"F*ck this".
I've got to start something:
If I don't start something now, I'll just keep pushing it back further and further until I've got the "perfect idea" or whatever. So instead, I examined my current life, my skill-set, my interests, etc. and jumped in head first...
I'm gonna put myself out there, build a personal brand, documenting my "second life" as a Futures trader and provide value to those that want to learn how to trade.
Some background info:
I've been trading for about 4 years now. Trading seems to get a lot of knock from folks around here because of the negative "get rick quick" stigma surrounding it, plus the abundance of forex "lambo" gurus that infest our social media feeds and pre-roll YouTube ads...
But, if you treat trading like a business - keeping spreadsheets, properly managing risk, and conducting yourself like a professional - it's a totally realistic way to approach the fastlane. The upside is unlimited, and it's not at all time intensive - thousands of dollars can be made in mere minutes.
This more serious and professional approach to trading is the angle I'm taking with my personal brand, showing a more realistic side of building a trading business and how to make it work long term.
Where I'm at now:
I mentioned earlier that I'm going to put myself out there and build a personal brand around this whole thing. So here's what I've been doing:
- Started a YouTube channel (at the time of this post, I'm sitting at 945 subscribers. I only started the channel 4 weeks ago!)
- Got an affiliate deal with a well known trading prop. firm (they reached out to me directly via. DM on Twitter after seeing one of my videos)
The plan:
- I'm going to be producing 1-3 videos per week as my schedule allows. These videos will be a combination of me documenting my own trades, and educational videos.
- I'll be trading my own account with the prop. firm mentioned earlier, building my own monthly income and account capital.
Monetisation:
- YouTube ad revenue
- Affiliate income (w/ trading prop. firm)
- An educational trading course
My goals:
- To reach 100k subscribers by the end of 2023
- To have a combined total monthly income of $30k (excluding actual trading income and my job salary) by the end of 2023
