Seems like from birth I've been subconsciously trying to escape the rate race, from my rebellious attitude in school growing up, to my careers of choice: basketball, musician, day/swing trading. Although all of these things have heavily contributed to my character development and they still remain in my life, I don't have much to show for the years of effort financially. That's when I stumbled upon @MJ DeMarco 's (hello and thank you!
) books namely The Millionaire Fastlane , and that's when my path became a little bit more visible. I understood now that a business that makes CENTS is the way. I finished The Millionaire Fastlane and am currently reading the great rat-race escape, and its been a tremendous help (will read Unscripted next). I'm currently self-employed and employed to pay the bills while I build my business. I've never built a business before and have never been profitable as an entrepreneur, so I am both afraid and excited for what's to come. I appreciate the moderators for allowing me in the forum and I plan to add as much value as I can while learning as much as I can from all of you!
