Happy new year, all! I'm happy to be a new forum member and just finished my first DeMarco book, Unscripted .
I came across MJ's short story randomly on Amazon and was blown away! That led me to Unscripted which I just finished.
His red pill philosophy and brute force honesty is EXACTLY the kind of business guidance I've been missing for years now! With an old fashioned in one hand and the book in the other, I've read it slowly so as to not miss anything important. (Though it's pretty much all important.)
A bit about myself...
* Late 30s, partnered, and a proud dog mom. I love being a mom but no thank you to human babies.
* Originally from NC (USA). Lived in the Washington, DC area most of my 20s and 30s. Grad school and living the "single gal in the city" lifestyle.
* Settled in Virginia Beach, VA for the past 3 yrs for no other reason than to live by the sea! (And the area isn't bad either.)
* Licensed therapist and owner of my solo private practice, in which I help couples from all walks of life with their toughest relationship challenges. I've been a practitioner for 15+ yrs now (mostly in private practice) and business is booming right now. Never a dull day in my world and I love helping people!
My goals for being here are to:
* Continue my deprogramming of Scripted dogma with like-minded people (funny that I've used this word "scripted" now for years before ever even knowing about MJ's work!)
* To contribute however I can to the success of this curated community, and
* To learn how to turn my talents and experiences into a solid productocracy and maximize the value I have to offer the world (and yes, I'm open to learning beyond my current field of work!)
