Hi @MJ DeMarco and everyone!
First of all, thanks for the great books. I've finished reading the Millionaire Fastlane and now reading The Great Rat Race Escape . I've been reading some business and self development books over the years but nothing can move me this much (paying and joining your forum) but your books. The only book that make total senses in my life even though I'm not living in the US.
I'm software engineer based in Indonesia, my life's quite good, working for Australian based tech company, paid in US Dollars and live in Indonesian lifestyle and way cheaper cost of living. But I always knew that I won't be working for this company forever, and I don't want to.
As an engineer, I had tons of ideas, executed some of them but none are taking-off. At the end of the day they're just side projects that making $0.
After reading your books, I come to realisation that all of those projects were "selfish" projects where I created them just because I have the skills to build them or following startup advice "scratch your own itch...", and none of them are following CENTS principles which makes totally sense why they aren't taking-off.
Thats my story, hopefully I can learn from you all and probably steal some inspirations on how to channel my skill in IT, so that I can finally affect millions and make millions
