I'm seeking someone who is a self-starter, and that doesn't need a lot of hand holding. The person would be working a lot with our e-commerce manager on our portfolio of e-commerce stores.(we have 20 and are in the process of selling 5-10 of them to focus on our larger ones) They wouldn't necessarily need to have done this before, but should be a quick learner, and be willing to be a bit of a jack of all trades. Some of the responsibilities would include: customer service, product uploads, content writing, business analysis, SEO/PPC.

I'm looking for someone who would be looking to grow with the company, and someone who is extremely driven. Not looking for someone who just wants a job. Looking for someone who wants to run a part of the company in the near future.

The position is located in Austin, TX, and is an extremely good opportunity for someone looking to get experience in the e-commerce industry, as they'll be given a lot of rope to learn with and try things out.

If you know of someone, please PM me with their contact information(email, phone and Skype).

If I end up hiring the person you recommended I will give you $500

Have you thought of hiring from odesk, elance etc?

I have 5 employees which I have never met nor even spoken on the phone with. They do exactly the jobs you have listed and they do an AMAZING job.

Have you tried talking to JackEdwards? You guys are located close to each other and he hires local talent. Seems like you wouldn't have a problem with labor in Austin, big college town.

Good luck Bill.

Yes- not the route we're looking for on this position. Looking for someone who can be in house/have the potential for management down the road. Also, odesk/elance is more for specialist work. We're looking for someone who can be more of a jack of all trades/wear a lot of different hats.

I've gotten a number of pms from people saying they have friends they want to refer, asking lots of questions, asking what information is needed, etc...

If you have someone you think is a good fit, the only information I need is their contact information and I'll reach out to them.

To clarify on one of the questions I receive- this position is NOT for someone seeking a mentor. You will learn a lot from this position, but this position is for someone interested in working in an e-commerce position, and will be working directly with our e-commerce manager. There may be other hats worn when needed, but that's where the majority of the role would be.

Is this as a partnership in the company or strictly for-hire? If the former, what % are you looking at?
