Change is one of the most difficult things that we face, but change is inevitable.
One reason we don’t like change is we get comfortable where we are.
We get used to our friends, our job, the place we live,
and even if it’s not perfect we accept it because it’s familiar.
What happens is because we’re not willing to change,
we get stuck in what God used to do
instead of moving forward into what God is about to do.
Just because God’s blessed you where you are doesn’t mean you
can just sit back and settle there.
You have to stay open to what God is doing now.
What worked five years ago may not work today.
If you’re going to be successful you have to be willing to change.
Every blessing is not supposed to be permanent.
Every provision is not supposed to last forever.
We should constantly evaluate our friendships.
Who’s speaking into your life?
Who are you depending on?
Make sure they're not dragging you down, limiting you from blossoming.
Everybody is not supposed to be in our life forever.
If you don't get rid of the wrong friends you will never meet the right friends.

From Hopsin's "Ill Mind of Hopsin 8" (spoken outro by Joel Olsteen)
If you wonder about the kinda religious way he describes it, Joel Olsteen who speaks the outro is the pastor of Lakewood Church (according to genius.com)

“There is only one way to avoid criticism: do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.” -- Aristotle?

Now let's read that in reverse...

"There is only one way to receive sincere praise: do something, say something and be something ... extraordinary." -- Daniel A?

I'm going to stop quoting myself ... for now. :stop::D

I like this quote given by Andy Black from one of our conversations. It still resonates with me...

Try to remember to be present. Live in the now. Savour every exquisite moment.
Be grateful for what you already have. Don't sacrifice your ability to savour the present in your desire for something in the future,
because when the future becomes now, how will you savour it?

There are only three types of people in the business world

Type 1: Lets you know that he’s out to get all of your chips. Then he tries to do just that.

Type 2: Assures you that he’s not interested in getting your chips. Then he tries to grab all of your chips anyway.

Type 3: Assures you that he’s not interested in getting your chips, and honestly means it. However, in the end, he tries to grab all of your chips anyway.

Poor people think:

How can I get 1,000,000 people to give me $1

Rich people think:

How can I give $10,000,000 worth of value and
only get 10% of it in return

The difference is...poor people want 100% of the value returned

And rich people are OK with only getting 10% of the value in return

"There is a time in every man's education when he arrives at the conviction that envy is ignorance; that imitation is suicide; that he must take himself for better, for worse, as his portion; that though the wide universe is full of good, no kernel of nourishing corn can come to him but through his toil bestowed on that plot of ground which is given to him to till. The power which resides in him is new in nature, and none but he knows what that is which he can do, nor does he know until he has tried."

- Ralph Waldo Emerson
