this is like a banker saying to a client :

" buy this financial product ! ( get a wife) .

you will gain nothing, be enslaved and you have a 50 % probability of losing half your money according to statistics

that's a good investment for your life !!"


i think the client will soon think that the banker is crazy

Sitting in Starbucks doing some Upwork and I hear a man and a woman who ran into each other behind me, catching up. She tells him about how her husband has started a beer business, they now have a license to sell the beer now to the public, getting land to grow hops, and so forth.. In addition, she's doing pretty well in real estate.

A few minutes later as they are parting ways, he says, "Well you know what they say, 7/10 businesses fail." Although not implying that hers would fail.

She says, "Well yeah that's why I'm okay if this one fails".

"No, it just means you might have to start 8 businesses"

Thought it was pretty funny.

I just had to share this quote from my colleague.

I am on a college alumni committee for my city to plan get-togethers and so-on. I'm the vice-chairman and the chairman is a Financial Advisor with a big nationwide firm. I just noticed today that his tagline quote is:
