This is what is happening in my area of Florida. The old 1% rule that Rusty depended on is toast. You now will have to buy at $50,000 and rent for $1,000 as the taxes are all going to jump with the economy just to keep up the services. My last rental this year was purchased for $27,500 and rents for $850 per month. I won't mention my older units that are around the 1% rule.:iagree:
