Need feedback on a lawn mowing business

Hey,

I turn 17 in a few months and a friend and I where thinking about starting a lawn mowing business. We already have 3 lawn mowers and a truck to transport stuff in. Our only competitors in the town we live is 1-2 businesses from what I can tell and they're mostly doing apartment complexes and stuff like that.

We'd be targeting middle class home owners in our town.

I know this isn't exactly fastlane but it has the potential to scale up if we start by doing it ourselves and then hire more people at a later date.

Has anyone ever owned a lawn mowing business, if so do you have any suggestions?
