I am looking for a billing software that can act as an intermediary between two groups and I am not sure if the software doesn't exist or if I am just not sure what it is called.

What I need is a software that can take a bill from a company and let me subdivide this bill and rebill multiple individuals based off the information in the original bill. I have been looking at sales software and billing software, but have yet to find something that would meet all my needs.

Using cell phones for my example, I would get the bill from Verizon and enter it into my system and then bill the 4 people who were under this original bill seperately. I would then need the software to also accept and track payments coming back to me and function with my website so that people could make payments online or by mail.

Perhaps this is somthing that I am going to have to have a company build onto an existing application, but I am hoping that someone can just point me to where it already exhist.

I know of nothing which can automate the process as you have described... Paypal allows you to request monies from multiple parties.

Please post your solution once you have decided on one.

Thanks

You're not going to find an out of the box software that does all this. You need a payment processor with a good API. I suggest checking out stripe.

https://stripe.com/docs/connect/collecting-fees

Thank you for the suggestion. I am going to get in touch with them and see what options they feel would work best for me. Like I said it is a bit of uncharted territory for me so I am hoping I don't overcomplicate the problem. In reality a basic quickbook and billing management program can easily handle both, but I am trying to streamline the process as much as possible to avoid hours of data entry every month.

Thanks again!

I am looking at stripe or possibly Recurly. Recurly is supposed to rock for tiered plans.

Recurly looks like it might be the best option yet. They offer everything I need along with the customization to make it all work together. Appreciate the recomendation.

I know this is a very vague question, but how would a company such as Recurly bill me? Would it be a set up cost + a set monthly fee + any additional needs cost? Or is it billed based on usage?
