Sweet, there are some in the list I've never heard of!

The War Of Art is one of the best books I've ever read other than yours... specifically for people struggling to maintain a creation process, whether it be web project, authoring, etc... any creative work where we hit a slump. The Compound Effect isn't bad either, for those looking at a long road to success or jonesing for the quick fix.

Has anybody read "How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big by Scott Adams?

Yes, I generally liked it. He relays a lot of Fastlane theology, such as you need to produce something that can be replicated by the thousands/millions.

The War Of Art is one of the best books I've ever read other than yours..

Nice, will add to list on next update!

War of Art should probably be one of the first books a new entrepreneur reads after getting started.

The entire book is about the fight against resistance.

For what it's worth, "Do The Work" by the same author is basically the ultra-condensed, triple-distilled "fun" version of the same content that makes for a really easy table-side reference book to keep around your work area to pick up and read a few pages of when you hit that damn wall of resistance.

I don't know why, but I hated Do The Work. Maybe would have a different effect if read first? (I picked it up immediately after War Of Art... how about you?)

I have a feeling my current read "Who Owns the Ice House" will be added to the list -- only a few chapters in, but I like what I've read thus far. Ill report back when finished.
Something you'd recommend? I actually have this on my list.

My apologies, yes the link was lost in the transition, I'll get it back here within the next 48 hours. Surprisingly, I've had multiple people ask about the link.

What kind of response is that? If these books are still relevant then i don't see any problem. So, do you know the name of the authors or no?
A quick google search yielded the information you’re looking for. Just highlight a title, right click and select “Google ___”

Nice good list of books here!
Just picked up 20 new ones based on the bookstore and recommendations.

One book I absolutely love, because of its content but also its style is: The Art of Thinking Clearly by Rolf Dobelli

Nice short sweet chapters! You can open anywhere in the book, read a chapter in a few minutes, and start to use some of the lessons in your every day life and decisions!

I have it bookmarked to the chapter about "Sunk cost fallacy" and often show or read the chapter when in meetings if I think people need to hear it :)

Did you just quote a post I wrote 10 years ago?
Hey man, congrats on being around for 10 years now.
