I'm wondering if I'm alone on this, but I'm interested in hearing from other business owners.
My inbox is filled with cold-email outreach BS ... a dozen emails per day, sometimes more.
The onslaught is incredibly overwhelming.
This past weekend, I was going through much of it -- reviewing and deleting, and I came across a podcast invite for a LEGIT podcast with a massive audience.
However, it was sent to me MONTHS ago.
And because it was surrounded by all the bullshit SCAMS, AI solicitations, and other crap listed above -- I completely missed it.
Make no mistake - I read the email, but passed it over because it was surrounded by illegitimate, low-brow, low-effort cold-outreach.
So I lost the opportunity. (I did eventually reply, but months later.)
And it makes me wonder, how many more opportunities have a I missed? And will miss?
Because when you receive 40 emails, and 1 of them is legit golden, how the hell do you know without having to spent 5 minutes per email doing due diligence so you can pass the 39, and expose the 1?
Anyone else facing the same issues?

- Automated AI slop solicitations...
- Scams...
- Pay to play "we want to feature you" BS
- Podcast invites for podcasts that have no visible audience or presence
- We will market your book under the guise "I've read your book"
- Loans, marketing offers, collabs, etc.
