I am finding it relatively hard to find a major business vehicle that is based on libertarian type ideals, is in harmony with natural law/rights, is not based on exploitation of human capital, doesn't prey on fear/greed continuously, and doesn't rely on cheap marketing/advertising programming or perpetual planned obselecense. Oh and a big one, not dependent on federal/state tax credits or subsidies such as corporate welfare.
I find ALOT of business that are based on such evils as a daily and practical point of existence. People say to get rich, take advantage of the government, and legal tax breaks, etc. Some people say focus on creating value /execution and that is the right path in the end. Maybe its obviously all of these things needed in the recipe. MJ obviously got everything right in the book and is the type of GOOD entrepreneur many of us strive to be. He has also given back lots of free good information and value.
Its obvious many businesses don't anymore but dam they are great at executing and keeping the money coming in. There are illegal things going on daily in this country that give certain companies BEYOND an unfair advantage of a small entrepreneur. Many businesses or TRENDS are SUPPORTED by the military industrial corporate legal complex. Real fair market huh? Many brands are all owned by the same players in the end. They are focused on the next bill to pass to get them more billions. There is little focus on the customer I'm sorry when you are rearranging brand logos and calling that "EVOLUTION of a business or INNOVATION", I laugh. Also, I find it sad that we have created such a economic system where entrepreneurs are taught to be government but sniffers looking for a handout or actively looking for social/corporate welfare. Maybe I'm wrong. I'd like to believe there are others who get what I'm' saying. I do think job creators should have incentive to keep doing so. SOME industries are created or encouraged by the government overnite and there is no thought to whether the path is GOOD for people in the end. (We now have DRONE stores opening up where I am so people can spy on each other from the sky.)
Even more crazy is many of us people want real change, and evolution of business and society but the way the economic system is , we have been supporting/creating the things we hate many times. We are all invested in our own destruction basically. We have helped created the idiocracy including outsourcing are kids to government mind control. We believe wealth is on digital screens. That is why I think the stock market is so key to what has been pulled off here on the middle class. Basically we are all invested in multi billions companies from the individual IRA to the College Foundation to the Government Pension. Why would anyone take down Monsanto in such a scenario when 50 billion could be wiped out? They much rather make sure their digital numbers keep increasing in their digital rat race?
Moreover, not in a LONG TIME have I heard people say " Maybe we should pass this bill or do this action because it is the right thing"
Instead, its "will it create or hurt jobs?" "Will it take money away from me?" Even broke people who picture themselves as wealthy will ask these question as if they are in the same class as a Wall St Bankster or something. LOL
Some Empowering Questions I want to ponder:
How to we create organizations or businesses to liberate or empower the individual, and thus the society? For brief moments government agencies and private charities and certain technological industries have done that. And it IS great when it happens. But to what end?
Can we measure such things beyond just short term thinking of Money/AKA Fed notes?
Can we build things of true VALUE even when they will destroy old industries and our own pockets in the short/mid term?
Can we continue to use technology in an empowering way to reduce and eliminate suffering when we have blatant forces blocking this at every turn ( IE medical industrial complex)?
Can we all stop for a second and realize that if a system produces nominal wealth but no corresponding spiritual wealth, than that is a major problem? as above , so below.
Is it a sign of being the greatest country in the world when your at the bottom of most statistical lists between nations and all your young kids/adults are walking down the street with eyes on an iPhone monolith, and not their dreams?
Are we really creating more liberty, and individual evolution when this is the outcome? Can we in such a system?
