Amail, youre wasting your time on this guy, you cant reason with his stupidity, he wont get it and never will.

As long as someone takes some value from my heartfelt point of view I'm happy. Maybe the next stolpioni will read this and grok that it's not good to steal / alter someone else's material.

Imagine how many guys like this are out there who AREN'T naive enough to post their "progress" to a forum.

In retrospect, we probably could have given him bad advice instead of teaching him how to get better.

This is sad. He had, like, 4 F*cking chances and didn't take any of em. Maybe he didn't know that ripping off a site completely is stealing. OK, first chance. Then he admitted to stealing and changed it a little bit to cloak it. Second chance. Then he defended his stealing. Third chance. Then he tried to defend it even more. Fourth chance. Then he insulted the forum admin. Really? You guys let him go THAT far?

Btw, MJ, you should sticky this thread in the 'Failures and Goofs' section.

There's a lesson to be learned here. It's okay to make mistakes, but to constantly defend your mistake to the point where you are insulting the people who you want to be like... well that's just insanity.

This thread get me thinking... I took the basic structure for the copy on Self-Made Renegade from http://foundation.io/program, he in turn, appears to have taken his basic structure from Ramit Sethi's original "Find Your Dreamjob" salesletter (which is no longer available on the web, but is saved to my evernote). Coincidentally, Ramit's program is incredibly similar to mine.

Do you guys think I need to edit the copy in order to decrease similarities (Note, I didn't copy website design or most of my copy, but certain headlines ARE copied, and the structure itself is a straight rip with sections removed.)

Classic. I got an alert on this thread, and popped over here. I clicked the link in the OP to the big business idea the OP had, and as is predictable, the site is dead with a "for sale" redirect.
