Alright, sorry for the clickbait headline. I dont make 100k a year yet but I do make around 50€ for every hour that I work.

What do I do ?
It's not a secret that I clean windows. I dont have a formal qualification or work for rich clients. I get clients mainly from flyers and from referrals. Recently there have been some from my network and social circle as well.
Why do I get paid so much per hour ?
It's because of 2 simple thing. The first is that I charge a set price and not a hourly rate. Paying 80 to get your windows cleaned is no big deal. Paying someone 25 per hour (half of what I make for the set price) is outrageous. Taking a set ammout makes you more money and more on your time.
The second thing I do is the headline I PAY MYSELF FIRST. I get first dibs on the money I make. Yes I lands in my bank account even before the state gets its cut. As a employee I would make about 75% less because everyone else gets their part of the money first.

That's it, I hope this was helpful. While I am not the wealthiest here I think I am in a place now where younger me would be proud. Full authenticity here, I made about 600 this month. This is not much but for to me it proofed that I can make money on my own.

How you can do the same in 5 easy steps
- You choose and physical labour that home/businessowners hate doing. (All of them lol)
- You spent 50 to 200 on getting the equipment. Tip: The more expensive your equipment the more money you can take per job.
- This is essential: You get jobs in a way that you set the terms. That means no running around door to door, reeking of desperation. Instead you do advertising that makes interested clients aproach you. Flyers work great and are cheap to start with. Otherwise ppc ads work fine as well. When they approach you, you have automatically more authority. You also only deal with customers that actually need your service. This way you don't the wash the car dealerships windows for 20 but for 140.
- You deliver. When clients are happy, they dont mind paying you lots of money.
- Be professional. Dont overdo it but show up dressed appropriately, talk like a civilized adult and most importantly, be timely.
