How do you find partners?

How do you find partners that you have almost nothing in common? As of this moment I'm looking for permanent residents of Canada that are interested in a specific niche but the problem is, I don't actually know any canadians.
I don't wanna nothing from them, my initial plan is to strictly provide value but yea, it's pretty hard to cold message someone right out of the blue.
Ideas, advice?

Business partnership is like marriage. More likely than any other relationship to end up in a conflict, divorce, lawsuit.

Do not kid yourself and others by telling that you want nothing from them. This is not true because you absolutely do. What you need is someone who wants the same, and who has your best interest at heart. Else, you are way better off on your own.

Totally agree with you sir, thanks for clarifying it. But my point was, how to approach these people once I met them (even though we have nothing in common).

Thanks anyway!
