How Conventional "Wisdom" Push Shitty Employees Into Becoming Entrepreneurs

Not everyone is capable of starting a successful venture. Some people are just shitty employees with a lack of drive, lack of wisdom, and lack of initiative. So... enter today's exhibit.



While I recognize some of these (negative) traits exist in most entrepreneurs, the things on this chart are not what is going to make you successful as an entrepreneur, nor are they a test to see if you would make a good visionary or self directed company leader. In fact, it might mean the exact opposite in some cases.

For some people, it might just mean that you are a worthless employee. The majority of business startups fail.

Note that there is nothing on this chart that talks about the skill set and thought process that makes a successful entrepreneur.

The way I read this chart, what it says is "if you fail in every other aspect of your life... become an entrepreneur." This isn't helping anyone out. In fact, it probably hurts people more than it helps them.

Everyone is not cut out to be an entrepreneur. Capitalism requires some people to be workers, and that's OK.
