Currently I am working with a Business Partner (An old friend) to grow his Exterior Cleaning business. He started everything alone and then I came along. The LLC and everything is under his name and plans to add me in soon. Great opportunity in my opinion to build many skills. We basically go door to door and sell our services. Of course like most businesses, this part (The beginning) is the most difficult. Originally I was building my personal brand and finally I started to receive growth, but this being a start up, it takes up my whole day and I come home from the scorching Florida Sun weary and not at the energy level to invest time into my brand. I'm putting aside what I am truly good at to challenge myself in new areas of my life.
In TMF , chapter 30, MJ talks about "Invest In Your Brand Only!". Reading this part of the book reminds me that longterm I want to continue to pursue my personal brand because I know I have what it takes to succeed with it. Part of me feels like I am investing into my Business Partners brand rather than "Our" brand, only because I am not completely driven to the goals of the Exterior Cleaning company.

What are some thoughts on my current situation?

By the way, thank you in advanced for the help. This forum helped me out so much so far. Much love.

What is the thing you were wanting to do?

Doesn't make much sense to me to stop and become a door knocker for someone else building his business. You will just regret not following through on your idea. Unless your idea was daft of course.

This sounds like a chance to work in a real business rather than waste your time posting on Instagram.

There’s been a few people talking about personal brands lately, is there a new guru on the scene selling a social media course?

I’ve been a music producer for over 7+ years and started to post tutorials and teach it online and gained a decent following relatively quickly. Very soon I will be profiting from my tutorials. Thank you for your thoughts and taking the time to reply

I haven’t heard of any gurus like that. I appreciate your response but i have a question. What does a “Real business” mean in your opinion?
