This topic came up yesterday in our mastermind group as a couple of us find ourselves consumed with 'busy' work that is usually not the most productive or efficient work.
My bill paying work is providing marketing services and consulting to a select few clients (3 or 4 max). I also have my fastlane endeavors. My desire is to work on my client projects and my fastlane projects everyday but struggle to balance the two at times.
Since our move to Phoenix (nearly 6 months ago) we've lived an a very small apartment and my 'office' is my bedroom with a very small 2 foot table as my desk.
Cramped and uncomfortable does not bode well with me.
I've realized I can be more productive and efficient with a dedicated space but that just is not an option currently.
The challenge for me is not not getting work done or not being motivated to work. I work anywhere from 12 to 16 hours a day. The challenge is getting it done more efficiently, more quickly.
I'd like to hear from those that have a pretty good system in place. Not just links to articles or books or theory but what is working for you? Personally field tested and approved if you will.
I know many here juggle lots of j.o.b.'s, tasks and projects. People like @Likwid24, @Vigilante, @AnneC and many others. Would love to hear how you're able to do so or is this something you also struggle with?
