This is a broad category and ultimately, it'll depend on the chosen business model, but generally, I'd say any online-only startup will need to know how to use Google Analytics and have access to other tools for comparing with competitor sites. For instance, SEO tools like Ahrefs and Semrush. An intuitive project management platform is another necessity, popular examples being Trello and Asana. Without holding each team member accountable in equal measure, no brand will get far. I'd also put the importance of having a practical file management strategy in the same vein. You'll need proper outreach methods to get things going, and then, you'll need the means to keep everything under control. That includes dealing with all inbound/outbound requests on time, sending error-free invoices with enough details for easy tracking later on (which will get more and more difficult to manage once you onboard external collaborators), and so on...

Love to hear your thoughts as well!
