Anyone else living on the coast right now? Erin is supposed to land a direct hit on us tonight and tomorrow morning. It's just a tropical storm fortunately, but we've got a plane to catch 100 miles away tomorrow morning and don't want the roads to be flooded out. Also, Dean is forecast to become a strong hurricane and is most likely coming toward us in a week or so. We're stocked up on supplies and I have plywood on its way to cover up our big window (9x6 feet) and might have to go take a visit inland if it does continue to track this way. Anyone been through a hurricane before? I'd be excited to ride out a category 1 or 2, but 3-5 could damage this building, and I wouldn't want to be here if that happened
Maybe it will be my first chance to use our battery-less radio and flashlight
