Happiness is owning your day, not letting it own you.

^that is exactly what I said, but only in one sentence. Very well put though :)

It is just mind blowing to me that people just accept their lives even though they want change. I guess people are afraid of action.

Happiness is an obligation. Your own happiness has an effect on everyone in your life and their ability to achieve their own happiness. Therefore, you have a moral obligation to try to achieve happiness. This is from Dennis Prager's book - Happiness Is A Serious Problem.

I had never thought of it like that, but the sense of duty to try to be happy helps me to snap out of it whenever I feel in a funk.

Going on a hike in the mountains and admiring nature while open carrying my Beretta M9(legal to open carry in UNincorporated areas in california) while blasting country music and drinking coca cola and smoking a cigar.

Sailing off the coast of southern cali while blasting the radio.

Going for a bike ride on a sunny day.

Sitting on the beach and thinking.

Building random things out of nothing.

Happiness is hearing your kid play a musical instrument in the band. And it really doesn't matter how well she can play. :)

Not thinking about anything. I like to catch those little moments, no matter how little they are.

Doesn't matter where I am.

Also, coitus.

Stalking a redfish on a flat for 20 minutes and catching him on the first cast.

When a song comes on that make you feel like you can do anything.

Realizing your work paid off.

Approaching a kink flat out, turn in early with a slight throttle lift to rotate the car, back on the gas as I drift thru hitting a late apex, then hitting my track out point at the same time I finish my slide carrying more speed than the previous lap. Pure heaven.
