- Ive always known that there is A LOT to be grateful for, but I never seemed to be grateful at all. Untill I stumbled upon Alex Hormozi podcast and discovered what I call the deathbed principle.
- So, picture this: you've got all the money in the world, but you're a grumpy 85-year-old fart on deathbed. Now, here's the question: would you trade ALL that money just to be 20 years old again? I bet you would.Time is way more valuable than u think.
Now, imagine this wild scenario: instead of being 20 again, you actually get to relive all your memories from birth to the present moment. Yep, you can't change a thing, but you get to experience it all over again. Can you imagine how much more grateful, present, and joyful you'd be during that second round?
- Yes, that is impossible, but you can PRETEND it is POSSIBLE.
- The way this works is I pretend I am 85-year-old reliving his life. I pretend like I already know whats gonna happen in future:
“WOW so this is how road looks without flying cars” “OMG there are no skyscrapers in this area yet!” “WOW my mum looks so young”
“This computer im writing on will be worth millions in the future!” “HOLY SH*T this is how my life looked 70 years ago!”
" MAN i almost forgot that my brother looked like this lol" "LOL i miss these times being a teenager with strong body"
- I know it sounds really silly but nothing has made me more present than pretending im 85 year old fart. (If graditude journaling works for you, great keep doing it, but if not deathbed principle might be a game changer as it was for me)
- Good luck on your journey !
