Fair enough. Some thoughts for the forum, everyone respond with what you think here......

Question: Why miss the opportunity to get help from your closest network, your family?

Quick aside: why the hell does everyone need to wait? 'oh, i'll get started after this business trip'. 'oh, i'll get started when little Timmy is out of school'. 'I'll start a workout program next January'.

If you are going to make permanent change, why not involve those closest to you? You don't need to hit them with an MLM pitch. Just brainstorm for 5 minutes while driving in the car to go eat. Throw out ideas and get feedback. Learn who is supportive and who just wants to crush your ideas.

@raad182 What I'm pushing for is for you to stop limiting / restricting / delaying yourself!!

.......
The problem is that .....
Always straight to the negative or the excuse. Maybe you don't even notice as you have limited yourself for so long. Change your language. Change your mindset. Change.

What do you guys think about the idea of starting a pre-workout line?
I have a good body so to market the hell out of it wouldn't be a problem.
There is a dude here who made this but he just buy cheap and rebottle with his brand.

Brother...when you started this thread you had 11 people in your corner (probably more but that’s how many likes your OP got) AND you had a successful businessman in @ZCP who has been guiding you for free.

Since then it has been filled with questions and shiny objects and justification for not doing anything and the likes have dropped and presumably the followers has lowered.

I believe you have it in you to make it work but if you’re open to a suggestion here it is. Stop asking us what you should do and just go do something, anything. Think a pre-workout line will be successful? Great, go do it and report back. Maybe it will work, maybe it won’t. Either way, this forum will respect the HELL out of you for trying.

For everyone reading this thread and following the @raad182 story ....
what is the % chance he does something?
what is the date when he will actually make some significant progress?
what could you learn from him to not get caught in the same loop?
Are you being paid to do this? I'm confused. You're either a saint or the most patient person ever.

I was in the same loop as Raad, his mindset is stuck on being rich instead of being free. He's looking too long term, "oh I want this Lamborghini" instead of "I want to first pay off the car I'm currently driving".

He needs to stop and find his 'why'. Until he does that, he will keep flip-flopping from one idea to the next.
To answer your questions:
1) At his current state, he has 0% chance
2) 4-6 months from now when it finally hits him that he's making excuses, what he's doing isn't working - he needs to take a different approach
3) I was in that same loop. I've found my why, and I'm working on that why daily - some days I fall back into that loop but I kick myself out of it

Raad, good luck mate! You haven't had a REAL FTE, but you will.. and when you do; you'll understand how your journey so far has been all talk and no walk.

P.S: If it comes off as harsh, it's because I've been where you are.

Edit your list. Review it for negative mindset / tone. Replace 'but' with 'and'. Reword so everything is progressing forward and positive. Take action with your words to help set that tone in your actions.

What results will you have in the morning?

Yesterday I went for a run at the most popular park here and saw a mid-age guy with a tshirt " #developer " pushing his baby carriage with his wife and I've thought " Sorry but screw that, I don't want to live like that "

Lol why? He has a wife and a child and is spending quality time with them. He could be a multimillionaire for all you know.

later I played online poker from the comfort of my bed " I need to get good at this " popped in my mind.

- I will drop the idea of creating a language learning game for kids, it will take a lot of time since I know nothing about it.

- My mother was watching some TV about how important it is to use sunscreen on a daily basis and then...A complain " Yeah right but there is no cheap sunscreen " and then I went for that run (at the start of this post) and said to myself " If my mother mention the sunscreen again when I get back home, this is a signal " and for GOD, I got back home, took a shower and 5minutes later she came again with some sunscreen in hand " Look Raad182, Is this sunscreen good? Its not cheap " and I took a look, it was some random imported sunscreen

I've got a couple things to say about all this you might not like.

1. What's up with the "looking for a sign" talk? You're looking for the universe to tell you what to do - it isn't going to happen. Recognize and accept that nobody is coming to save you and you are 100% responsible for your own life and choices.

2. You are trying to leverage the lifestyle of coasting on your emotions towards getting rich. It is not conducive to discipline. You feel good energy from poker? No, you're subconsciously attracted to fast and easy money because you lack discipline and have bad beliefs. "I was playing poker from the comfort of my bed when 'I need to get good at this' popped into my head.

So what? You want to be good at it because the idea of making millions from the comfort of your bed sounds rad. Yeah no shit that's why casinos rake in billions, people get obese at McDonalds and Sidewalkers stay poor.

3. The childrens language game might be your best bet. It's a solid idea. Your problem is that you're averse to work. Yes, it will take time to learn. Everything does. Right now it doesnt seem like you know anything that useful anyway so you might as well start there. Saying "I don't know enough to start" is going to stop you from learning anything. Change your language to "What do I know about this?", "How could I make this product?" and "What do I need to learn to make that happen?"

Tough love would have me use two words .... Action Faking

In reality, some of what you wrote shows strong signs of progress. :)

This is good:
........ To find the one this is what I will do: Write 4 business ideas a day for the next 25 days, evaluate the ideas using CENTS and resources needed, Pick 10 ideas out of 100, 100% focus on executing (starting phase) 1 idea per month and find my 1st real business by december.

Do that with full write ups on the forum for us to talk through and discuss. You will learn a lot. Then if you truly 100% focus, you WILL have a profitable business. Change alll SHOULD statements to MUST. I MUST write 4 business ideas. I MUST execute 10 ideas.

Now this is not good:
........ In a worst case cenario, I will erase all my doubts and later regrets in life. If I fail at my 10 best ideas, its a indicator that I wasn't born to be an entrepreneur, the same for the fitness life.

Defeatist excuses to make things easier and softer for your weak will and spirit. This statement is a huge bunch of action faking victim bullshit. Erase this language from your life.

You ARE a profitable businessman. You ARE a fit physique influencer.

So what are your 4 ideas with full CENTS writeups?

The thing is ..... @raad182 isn't even the starfish....... it's the person reading this 3 years from now that just needs the push to get off their a$$ and take charge of their life and go F*cking make something happen!! If that is you in 2022, DM me and let me know if it made an impact.

@ZCP spot on.

"The problem is that... but I..."
"The opportunity is that... and I..."

@raad182 You described it as a "problem" in the negative sense. It's true, it is a problem for someone. The customer can't reach the product! It's an opportunity for you, one of an infinity that you could pursue, if you chose (I mean, you do have to decide which ones are best suited to your skills and tastes, but the universe is made of almost nothing but opportunity). You described a price imbalance caused by remoteness, a classic trade opportunity. Not to mention the perceived value multiplier caused by the improvement of the frame. Keep on truckin' buddy! :hilarious:

Time to up your standards. You now have something listed in ONE of the boxes below.
What are you doing in the other boxes?

1. I will buy anything for $1 and sell for 2$
2. I will cold-approach 4-5 women
3. I will gradually change my mindset from " Take " to " Give ".
4. I will practice Forex a little bit more
5. I will get back to sports betting
6. Create an online passive source of income that demands less than 4hour/day of work.
.....unity game
7. Start a profitable business
8. Get in the best physique of my life
9. Often I have some free time at my corporate job that I could use to learn something.
10. Time with friends and nightlife
11. Willing to do whatever it takes to live the life of my dreams.

Keep adding to this list and evolving. If you a ditching something, line through it (list why) and work on the next one. You are young, full of energy, and low on ideas. Put a minimum of 1 hour each week into each box. You need to keep as many paths going as you can until something pops up that requires 200% of your attention. This list will help you on your journey as you add information / feedback / failures.

Now quit half assing and truly get to work on your life! Get to work!

Something in me is telling myself that his “why” is not strong enough. Whenever your why is strong enough, you find a way to make it happen.

I don’t think shotgunning ideas is going to help something stick tbh. The passion that he will think he finds will be out of progression and monatary return - money chasing if you will.

I believe that at this point there is a major lack of focus, confidence, and experience that he just needs to focus on one idea, regardless of how terrible the idea is, and learn what it is to go through a process of creation to success/failure. Start building proper muscle memory!

It may even be beneficial to chose something that he has a huge educational benefit, but will most likely fail just so he can go through the process of abstract thinking and process to try and make it work. That changes the thought pattern from “I hope this works / will this work?” to “how do I make this work?”

I think building the proper mentality is more important right now than anything else, and that comes from action, experience (success or failure), and reflection.

How did you start, and how long did you get to 19k subs?
I'm thinking about starting a channel for a while, I made 3 videos on it but they are meme edits, and not something I think I can do for the long run.
I have a lot of ideas for videos, and a "video bank" based on other youtubers I like.
But I am really anxious about speaking/showing my face online, we're you showing yourself in videos, and if so how did you get past the enitial fear?

My videos are vlogs, so its just me and the camera. I've never had fear about being in front of a camera. I've been into bodybuilding for a long time and at the gym guys often would come at me for advice or asking how to achieve that kind of body, this used to happen 3 times a week, So I had a demand. One day I was at home with some free time and recorded a 5min video giving tips, posted in a few forums and it became viral, then another and another but I've always struggled with being consistent. This first video was uploaded 6 years ago, so Youtube was way different, there were way less channels and the content was less professional than today.

For the fear, I would say practice, practice and practice. There is a reason why athletes and musicians practice for hours on a daily basis. The more you record and watch yourself, you will feel more confident and be able to spot what you are doing wrong, what you could improve and so on...

One more thing, think long term. What is the goal of your youtube channel? Make money? Fame? Generate a following? A hobby? The answer will tell how much you should invest.

proud of you!

now, what are your action items for this week?
.....3 to 7 things that you WILL GET DONE this week?

some questions:
- goals?
- tools and resources available?
- what are you willing to do / invest / give up?
- what things can be attempted right now?

that should get you going!

@raad182 chop chop. according to your schedule, you should be working right now. :)

Good morning for you too ZCP

How awkward?! lol Now you know my daily schedule.

So lets gooo

.....3 to 7 things that you WILL GET DONE this week?
1. I will buy anything for $1 and sell for 2$ (a bottle of water probably).
2. I will cold-approach 4-5 women (Im single and this always put me on a social positive mood).
3. I will gradually change my mindset from " Take " to " Give ".
4. I will practice Forex a little bit more (Just to conclude if Im in or not).
5. I will get back to sports betting (I know, you will think im joking but I gave me a few bucks to bet as New Years gift, Its quite risky but in the past I've followed an strategy and made 2k from 30$ in 1 month...But I don't have expectations or ambitions, just entertainment)
6. My family will stay with me for the next 12days, so I will need to spend time and give attention to them, this will take away my focus a little bit. After that, I will be All in.

some questions:
- goals?

  • Create an online passive source of income that demands less than 4hour/day of work.
  • Start a profitable business
  • Get in the best physique of my life

- tools and resources available?

  • Business Management Degree
  • A rented apartment. I live alone so I guess this is an advantage.
  • Speak two languages (Portugues)
  • Good physique
  • 9-5 corporate job
  • To be true, I really don't have any relevant tool or resource available
  • Good emotional intelligence and control (I've been developing this for while)

- what are you willing to do / invest / give up?
  • Often I have some free time at my corporate job that I could use to learn something.
  • Time with friends and nightlife (Im a lone wolf, I often go out solo).
  • Willing to do whatever it takes to live the life of my dreams.

- what things can be attempted right now?

  • Youtube Channel (Done) - reached 3M views + 19k subs but its kinda dead now
  • Online Course Udemy (Done) - 1 week and not a single purchase until now, its a homemade course.
  • Flipping items - Selected 10 items, did some marketing+copywriting work and increased 10% on the price. Sold just 1 item.
  • Become a digital influencer (Instagram) - Unreal competition and I hadn't the lifestyle to show.
  • Forex trading - Practicing on a demo account right now.
  • Buy/Sell small things on the streets aka Hustle - People would find really strange if I was selling anything on the streets at night unless it is drugs.
  • Fiverr Gigs - Created 3 (dating advice, fitness plan and astrology readings) not a single purchase until now.
  • Astrology readings - Funny hum?! But I studied Astrology hard in the past years trying to find answers and self-knowledge, became quite good at this and could charge for readings but its rare to find someone to pay for such service and Im lowkey about it.
  • Blogs - Created one for male lifestyle when I was younger but at the time I couldn't provide the consistency needed to make it grow.
  • Play Games - I've always enjoyed to play video games and I could do live streams but this isn't something Im looking for right now.
  • Porn website - For a specific niche but did a quick research and besides the unreal competition, its quite hard to profit on the traffic as there are unlimited free supply in this area.
There are more but these ones are more alive in my head.

Following your progress @raad182

Overcoming the years of negative beliefs put into your mind without you even realizing it is tough stuff, I’ve been there and it’s a daily battle. You can do it though.

Get a small win under your belt, then another and another and watch it snowball.

Oh, and consider an edit to your thread title. “Zero” is not what you are, not now or at any point in your life.

Have you put what you have done and what you are stopping doing (with all the why info) into your entrepreneur log? Am guessing no. That you are dabbling and doing 'flavor of the month'.

Use a systematic approach. Identify an idea, research it, test it, learn, pivot. Log and note everything you do, whether / how it works, and WHY it worked or didn't work. This will be invaluable to you as you move forward.

Go back to your list of 11 and log here what you are doing on each or what you have stopped and why. Add any new ideas.

Then list what will get done the week. Then get it done. ...... time to give back and post this for those coming behind you!

Hey @ZCP
I've just faced a life changing event, kinda faced death and that made me rethink my life.
..... Seize your day .....
Something kept you here. In my book, that means there is something greater that you are yet to do. You now MUST go do it.

I do not judge people on their past. I judge strongly on 'what they do next'.

What will you do next? Are you ready to quick dicking around and get serious? You said the words. Are you ready to walk the path?
