Hello, fastlaners!
I'm Mara, brazilian, 28 year-old, engaged to another amazing fastlaner, the one who presented me "The Milionaire Fastlane" reading and gifted me the book.
Since I was a child my mind traveled fast around all the money I wanted to make! I wanted to life the best out of this life and help other during the journey. But like most of us, I was dragged into the Slowlane patterns and faced a graduation that I hated, just so I could bring some peace to my mom and have a "better opportunity" in life, with a great job in a great company. It didn't take me more than 2 semester to know that I was never going to do that. I wanted something of my own, something that allowed me to experiment, to create and to achieve my highest dreams. I was terrified with the idea of working hard to enrich someone else rather than me.
After all, I became an industrial engineer and had some experience with Foreing Trade and later on with Customer Service, while I was living for a year in Colombia. That was when I realized that I could do much dealing with people and saw my communication habilities shine! From this point onwards many opportunities came to me - always connected with sales and management. After working with some teams, I ended up being the coordinator and operational manager of a health insurance for animals. While living this last experience, I focused on reprogramming my mindset, reading as many books as possible about money and self-development and so it was when I finally started doing some for my own and working part time (after my regular work) in marketing. I fall in love!
It was hard for me to take the decision of quitting my last job, but with my fiancè support I did! We both started running our business! I admitt that I was freadned by the idea of not being able to generate money at first, but it's gone! I'm more than capacable and I'm doing it! Right now, I work with online sales as affiliate, while we're desing our own products.
It took me a little bit of time to write this intro, but I'm happy I did it! It's something that I'm investing right now: knowing other fastlaners and learn with your histories! Hope to connect as well!
