From what I understand it is not illegal to play poker, but rather to transfer money via credit card to a "gambling" website. I notice that there are usually 20,000 players online the large sites at any given time, so I doubt there's an issue of being picked out of the crowd. However, given what the news has shown lately...I wouldn't share any copyrighted music online =) Can't wait for this game to start...still just over 2 hours to wait on it. Good luck all :smxB:

It's not illegal for the player at all. Totally legal.

Third party banks they are saying is doing someone not legal, but the guidelines haven't even been set for this. When this all gets sorted out I believe in 1-2 years it will become regulated anyways, and it will turn into another poker boom.

Lol...wish I could get in on this.

Unfortunately, I'm trying to stay sane while watching the Yankees. They're making it tough.

Well, despite internet problems for two of us, things went pretty well. Snowbank came in 1st, JesseO in 2nd, Biophase in 3rd, Phlgirl in 4th, and I don't recall the rest. I think Camski was in 4th. It was a really fun time! We should definitely do this again. I owe Reipro some money (if he holds me to my word) and I must apologize once again to Phlgirl for that massive suckout I won with. Thanks so much to Bio for setting it all up. When is the next game??

I want to apologize for missing tonights game. I hope my signup money is compensation :) Just picture me throwing 5 dollars on the table for free. My first meeting with the investor ran much longer then I anticipated. I expected it to last about an hour. It ended up over 2.5 hours. Congrats to the winner.

It really was a lot of fun - thanks, biophase, for setting us up.

No worries on the 'suckout' JesseO - all is fair.....and I should have known better!

We absolutely should do it again sometime soon!

........and before I forget, yes, Bio, I would have called you, had you attempted to put me all in.

Dammit!!! I thought you would and I was gonna push it but I thought you'd fold with a flush out there. Was hoping you'd bluff at it after I checked.

So, I guess we should start a new thread with a poll on the best night to have the next one?

I definately want to get in on the next poker game. Unfortunately, I became entangled in the debacle that was Monday Night Football and couldn't take my eyes off my Bills. What a shame! What a sham! I love the Bills, but I have no expectations for them this year, or next year if they keep those clowns they call coaches. Seven seconds left, THE ONLY PLAY the Cowboys can make is a pass to the sidelines, and what do the Bills' coaches call? A relaxed zone defense!!! Incredible. I haven't been so disappointed in a Bills loss since Norwood was wide-right! Argh!!! :pissed:

Enough of that - off my rant, thank you (and my apologies for a momentary hijacking of this thread).

Count me in as long as I am available for the next game.

I don't think you would want to subject yourself to more torture by watching another Bills game?

You can't from paypal. That's why I was having people paypal me and then I'd transfer money from my Pstars account over to theirs. Did you get your paypal funded? You did get the $5.50 I transferred to you in my Pstars account right?

We normally play for around $10. However I am willing to throw caution to the wind and play for $20.

I'm with you! $20 for some fun and, of course, complete domination of my competition, is well worth it.

...

...

...

Okay, maybe I exagorated a little bit about the complete domination thing :smx1:
