Ok, I'm going to toss out a date and see how it goes.

Monday October 8th, 6pm PST. I think we have people in all 4 time zones wanting to play so I hope this time will work out.

This tourney should last about 1.5 hours based on 8-12 people joining and a standard blind structure.

The tournament is set up at Poker Stars. It's tournament 63125029 called Fastlane to Millions. $5 buyin + $0.50. It's under tourney/private. Standard blind structure (15 mins) and payout for 1st-3rd.

PM me for the password and let me know if you need me to transfer funds into your Stars account. We only need 3 to get it running, but it'd be nice to have a 9-10 at least.

I don't mind increasing it to $20 or $50. But we have to balance it with casual players who probably wouldn't feel comfortable putting $50 against some pros or people who play all the time.

I just did the cheapest $5 to start it off. After all, it's just for fun!

I would love to play.... have never been on PokerStars - was a partypoker member, like many others, until the laws changed.

I only play real poker or a free online site for poker. Its not the same online. I actually love playing poker and am probably a little ahead right now.

I'd love to play but I don't have the means to transfer funds (no c.c.). I'd have to do a bit of multitasking during the Yankee game anyway, but my attention would be undivided once that ended. Either way, I don't think I'd be able to transfer the funds to get in on the game.

From what I understand it is not illegal to play poker, but rather to transfer money via credit card to a "gambling" website. I notice that there are usually 20,000 players online the large sites at any given time, so I doubt there's an issue of being picked out of the crowd. However, given what the news has shown lately...I wouldn't share any copyrighted music online =) Can't wait for this game to start...still just over 2 hours to wait on it. Good luck all :smxB:

LOL! I'm sure you can change change your information if/when you pick some money up ;-) I used paypal to transfer money to a certain third party, then have them transfer the funds into my account...but honestly I wouldn't worry about using paypal or even a credit card too much. That's me though, and I might be the kind of person who watches bootleg movies online at sites like www.tv-links.co.uk I doubt that I would ever do that though!

No problem, we can set it up for anytime. Looks like we'll have 5 or 6. Just enough to have a decent match. I actually have to meet a new tenant to sign a lease right after. I had set the time at 6pm earlier today, then remembered the tourney, rescheduled to 8pm.

BTW, the password is fastlaneforums for any late comers.
