I was playing with a product idea for, like, half a year.
I thought a lot about it, drew it in CAD, and experimented. I kept thinking, "Meh... this is going to be a trouble."
It turns out it might even be physically impossible, needing an inherently flawed mechanism, or it would need to be bulky, heavy, and complicated, which defeats the point and all the value.
I am curious.
How many ideas do you guys have that die before you even make a prototype, try to market it, or even bother searching for suppliers, manufacturers, tools, etc.?
I kept feeling like I shouldn't give up on it, and I still do. I know I shouldn't give up when I haven't done shit yet. But perseverance might not always be worth it. Right? In fact, it can become the definition of insanity sometimes. Otherwise, I challenge you to build a hoverboard from Back to the Future. You already got a customer if you succeed.

How many ideas did you have like that? Those that didn't ever get validated. Market Mind never even got a chance to sniff them.
I had several.

This picture comes to mind. But what if you are mining a never-ending tunnel to nowhere? What if you are trying to dig through neutronium with a toothpick? ...
