Email Marketing Software Solutions!?

Wanted to see if yall had any thoughts/recommendations for email marketing solutions and/or if you might be able to point me in the direction of some good resources to research the subject.

I have googled but it's hard to tell what is real vs. IM Spam and I respect your, the forum members, opinions.

Main list is about 3,000 emails that get mailed about 1 or 2 times a week.

We also have some non-curated lists of about 100,000 emails that we would like to sift through as well. Some of them are outdated from our old CRM databases so I imagine a fair amount will no longer be active and don't want bomb our account/IP so any thoughts on potential solutions here would be great as well.

Currently use constant contact which is fine for our smaller list but would like to get our whole database uploaded and sifted through.

Have been looking into self hosted options as it seems a onetime software purchase with VPS will be a more cost effective solution.

Would love to discuss this topic with yall so let me know your thoughts etc.

The best email marketing solution would be to stop annoying the F*ck out of your audience with 1-2 emails per week.
Unless you offer gold for free, this is how you're sent into trash after the first week.

I think advising anything to get through the other 100k list will be a crime against humanity.

Sorry should have provided some clarity. I am in the commercial real estate space. We use email to supply deal flow to our clients. 1-2 emails per week is actually exceptionally light for what we do, often receive 10+ emails a day from others, and in many cases is the preferred means of delivery for the acquisitions contacts we have. Deal flow is the Gold of CRE.

Thank you for the recommendations. I will definitely be looking into sendgrid. After reviewing our current analytics we believe we have had some issues with delivery and have recently had several clients requesting to be added to our list even thought they are already on it.

Then https://www.sendinblue.com/ may suit you well enough.

Thanks all for the input.

Anybody have any experience with nuevomailer or other similar software solutions?

Seems like a more cost effective alternative to traditional email marketing services for large lists.

Also does anybody have any thoughts on the pros & cons of self hosting.
