I was just listening last night that veganism might actually be healthier, and people believe there not getting protein if they don't eat meat. I do think it's different here in the Netherlands and Germany. I've seen different fruits and vegetables I never heard of in America. It's been a learning experience when I go to the grocery store. Ha ha...as well as new spices. Don't know if you can find a European or British cooking show, but you'd be surprised all the dishes they make that are healthy. You're right. I don't get enough protein. Or B12. In fact, I'm gonna die soon from eating all these plants.
Joking aside, my last blood test showed it was fine, if anything, perhaps too high.
Protein hasn't been an issue for me, veganism is not all about salads, kale, and quinoa. I haven't had any issues building or preserving muscle. My vice/challenge is always carbs/sugar ... I went through a period of "vegan junk food" last year that got me a little pudgy, but that's mostly gone now.
