Mm... Cashflow isn't auto-calculating like it should. And what happened to my pretty cell formatting? Financial Position isn't necessary, because it was the number used for Cash Reserves in the next year. Please keep fiddling with, it's a living document.

So maybe "affordability" isn't necessarily a hard numbers thing but a gut feeling? A "hunch" on what WILL happen?

A negative cash flowing property of 20k/month seems extremely un-affordable... to anyone! ... except if you have a "hunch" it will improve... ?

Hmmm, I don't think hunches are a big part of financial planning. Due diligence, research and financial intelligence play a bigger part I think.

A hunch can be a great decider among many good options. Put another way, when preparation has led to many great (but mutually-exclusive) opportunities, sometimes listening to your gut or intuition can help you choose. We are emotionally aware of much more than we can verbalize or even consciously "know." When you have a hunch, it's not some angel whispering in your ear. It's your own good judgment. Listening to your intuition will improve your luck in huge ways.

There are times however when listening to hunches will screw you over...if you get a hunch, don't run into whatever your mind is saying but do research first.

Following your hunches prevents paralysis by analysis. It opens your eyes to factors beyond the "facts."
