Hello Fastlaners,

This is a quick question. I have been using Godaddy for all my domain purchases and hosting services for almost a decade now and the only reason I go with them is that the company is huge and they have some good customer service (as far as what I have experienced). However, sometimes, I feel that may be there are better options out there and I need to explore them a bit.

Therefore, I would like to know you suggestions about the existing hosting providers that you are currently using or might have used in the past apart from godaddy.

They're a terrible company. I suggest you move away from Godaddy, they're overpriced and their hosting is bad.

For domains use Namecheap or Namsilo. For hosting check out Digital ocean droplets, Vultr, or Cloudways (easiest). Namecheap is alright for shared hosting too.

I will surely check Digital Ocean. Heard it names after a very long time.

I have also bought my domain names from GoDaddy. I don't have any complaints.

For hosting, I have been using Heroku for nearly the past year now. I wouldn't say I have much experience with them yet and I have no experience with other hosting providers, however, Heroku seems to provide a lot of value for what you're paying and you can easily scale if need be.

You can also host your website for free while you make sure everything is working correctly.

If you can handle technical things go for DigitalOcean.
For $5 or $10 a month you will get server that
will be faster and bigger than GoDaddy.

If you need support then shared hosting is
your option.
Those shared hosting providers are basically
support companies with hosting attached.
And that's what people are paying for.

for me the best webhoster is Stablepoint.com. They use Servers from Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Digital Ocean and protect the website with Imunify360 Web Application Firewall.

The best domain hoster for me is Infomaniak.com & Nicmanager.com

And the best DNS AnyCast and CDN Provider for me are Cloudflare.com and Bunny.net
