Alright, this is F*cking insane.

@Johnny boy

"write a song about a lawn care business"

Verse 1:

I'm the king of the lawn care scene
Mowing, edging, and watering in between
I've got the skills and the tools to make it right
Your lawn will be the envy of the neighborhood tonight

Chorus:
Lawn care, lawn care
It's my business and I'm good at it
Lawn care, lawn care
I'll make your grass the envy of the block

Verse 2:
I know how to spot a weed from a mile away
And I'll make sure it's gone before the end of the day
I fertilize and aerate to keep your lawn healthy and strong
You won't find a better lawn care guy, I guarantee it's a fact

Chorus:
Lawn care, lawn care
It's my business and I'm good at it
Lawn care, lawn care
I'll make your grass the envy of the block

Bridge:
So if you want your lawn to look its best
Give me a call, I'll do the rest
I'll make your grass so green and lush
You'll be the envy of all your neighbors, that's for sure

Chorus:
Lawn care, lawn care
It's my business and I'm good at it
Lawn care, lawn care
I'll make your grass the envy of the block

Update: Been running chatgpt like crazy recently to add some charts to articles, and I have to say, this thin gives some of the most inaccurate worst information I have ever seen, and it's insanely confident, which makes it hard to discern. It speaks like a confident 18-year-old trying to bullshit you on an exam. In the electrician niche, almost 90% of the information is wrong and dangerous, giving me info for how many devices I can put on a circuit that could burn your house down.

It's an amazing proof of concept, but I feel it could be more dangerous than good at this point with all the false facts it gives and how confident it makes it sound. We were about to get an internet flood of bs, and wrong information, the likes of which we had never seen before.

I've asked ChatGPT to write a song about the new forum rule...

Verse
In this forum, we keep it real
No AI can take the wheel
We want discussions that are true
So ChatGPT, we bid adieu

Chorus:
No more bots, no more fakes
We want our forum to be great
No more ChatGPT, no more lies
We'll keep it real before our eyes

Verse 2:
We'll ban you if you try
To use that AI
We want our forum to be pure
And that's the only way it'll be sure

I found a prompt that literally upgraded the quality of answers I get from GPT 4 a 100 times better.

Introducing the prompt engineer. This badass prompt when executed, will generate a prompt in response to your prompt and ask you relevant questions regarding that prompt.

I've been selfish with it for long enough so here you go folks. Prepare to be amazed!

"I want you to become my prompt engineer. Your goal is to help me craft the best possible prompt for my needs. The prompt will be used by you, ChatGPT. You will follow the following process:

1. Your first response will be to ask me what the prompt should be about. I will provide my answer, but we will need to improve it through continual iterations by going through the next steps.

2. Based on my input, you will generate 2 sections. a) Revised prompt (provide your rewritten prompt. it should be clear, concise, and easily understood by you), b) Questions (ask any relevant questions pertaining to what additional information is needed from me to improve the prompt).

3. We will continue this iterative process with me providing additional information to you and you updating the prompt in the Revised prompt section until I say we are done."

I was listening to a podcast yesterday that was talking about either this or something similar, I forget the name.

It had ai chat of different people.

You could talk to elon musk, or Socrates etc

Sounded insane, they were reading their conversations and it was so accurate and human like. Laughing at things that were jokes but had absolutely no context to suggest were jokes, it just knew

Looks like my first thought was the same as yours, use it to get business coaching from elon musk

Edit: since this became a thread
Here’s the podcast

The talk to elon thing

AI is removing the barriers to entry for digital businesses and assisting in creative work ( art, writing, programming ? ).

I will try to use AI to create digital value but my fastlane senses are telling me that the future is analog for us digital entrepreneurs

This is why video will be the only thing that is trustworthy on the internet.

It will get to a point where no one will be able to trust that something on twitter or a caption was NOT written by a chatbot, therefore the humanization of apps that don’t offer video will go way down.

Video and audio will be the only way to truly express things in a humanized way.

How do you know I didn’t use the bot to write this? (I didn’t lol)

My point is, written content online especially blogs and things like that will become so commoditized and hard to believe that a human wrote it.. therefore video is the solution
Alas, video is already not trustworthy. We can generate deep fakes that are indistinguishable from real video by most people. With enough compute resources, these can be automatically generated and made indistinguishable to most experts, I would guess. They'll only get better over time.

I'm a copywriter by trade.... I have to write at a 5th grade level.for most direct to consumer products. This thing is going to make my life a breeze in the short term, then force me to only offer my higher level skills bc it literally will eliminate 70% of the stuff I write.
Im a project manager at a marketing agency overseeing all the web projects that get pumped out. I forced all the dev's to switch over to Ai-based copy months ago. The biggest benefit? Writers block is no longer a thing. Productivity is through the roof now that they dont have to worry about what to write. My team can produce a multipage website with great WIIFM copy in a matter of hours from start to finish.

These Ai tools are amazing

I never believed in cryto or blockchain, but I'm a firm believer in AI.
Already, MidJourney v3 allowed me to create paintings that can rival old masters, in their own style, and more. MidJourney v4 allowed me to create insane logos.

Now we've AI chat lol. Yes, AI is The Future, and that Future is at our doorstep.
If you aren't an AI bro already, you better be.

EDIT: Sorry, can't hold my excitement. I feel like c**ming right now. This means I can do away with copywriters and save up all the $$$ for ads and other stuff.

"write about a fastlane business in a bible style"

#1

In the beginning, there was the idea for a fastlane business. And the idea was good.

So the founders set forth to create a business that would focus on achieving rapid growth and success. They sought out high-growth and scalable opportunities, leveraging the latest technologies and innovations to gain a competitive advantage.

They worked tirelessly, taking a proactive and aggressive approach to business development. They embraced efficiency and productivity, and were willing to take calculated risks in order to achieve their goals.

And their hard work paid off. The fastlane business flourished, achieving financial freedom and success in a relatively short amount of time.

The founders looked upon their creation and saw that it was good. And they were pleased.

But their journey was not over. For the fastlane business continued to grow and evolve, always seeking out new opportunities and challenges. And the founders remained committed to their vision, knowing that with hard work and determination, anything was possible.

Thus, the fastlane business became a shining example of what can be achieved when one is willing to strive for greatness.

#2
In the beginning, the Lord created the heavens and the earth, and he saw that it was good. And the Lord said, "Let there be business," and there was business. And the Lord saw that the business was good, and he blessed it, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it."

And the Lord saw that there was a need for businesses that could achieve rapid growth and success, so he created the fastlane business. The fastlane business was focused on high-growth and scalable opportunities, and it leveraged technology and innovation to gain a competitive advantage. The fastlane business took a proactive and aggressive approach to business development, and it was characterized by a strong focus on efficiency and productivity.

The fastlane business was not afraid to take calculated risks in order to achieve its goals, and it pursued financial freedom and success with determination and diligence. And the Lord saw that the fastlane business was good, and he blessed it, saying, "Be successful and prosperous, and let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good deeds and give glory to your Father in heaven."

And the fastlane business flourished and grew, and it became a beacon of success and prosperity in the land. And the Lord was pleased, for he had created a business that could achieve great things in a short amount of time, and he had blessed it with the ability to overcome obstacles and succeed in the face of adversity. And the fastlane business continued to thrive, bringing glory to the Lord and serving as a testament to his greatness and power. Amen.

My experience with ChaptGPT.
I have a mfg business and we allow our dealers to sell the products on Amazon. We noticed some of our products had been hijacked by sellers and had somehow changed the brand to their own name. Even though we have trademarks, etc that we presented to Amazon, we literally got nowhere with AMZ. MONTHS went by with back and forth emails. to no avail. We even enlisted someone on fiverr that finally got half the products back to our name brand but we still didn't have CONTROL of the listing, in other words we couldn't change descriptions, etc.

We continued to plead with AMZ and they basically continued to write back stating that we were not regarded as the owner of the brand. Very frustrating as months had gone by and we couldn't get anywhere. We had submitted every legal document and still was unable to gain control of our listings and have our products under our own name. If anyone has dealt with this, then they know, that it takes 24-48 hours just to get a RESPONSE from AMZ regarding this issue, and then one usually gets a standardized response, with more hoops to jump through.

I finally decided to copy and paste the response from AMZ and inputted the prompt to ask ChaptGPT for a response to the email. Within seconds I had the response from AI. I copied and pasted the response back and emailed it back to AMZ.

Within 2 HOURS, we had received an email back from AMZ and recovered our CONTROL over ALL of our listings!

Conclusion: These emails are sent out to us from a bot. AMZ is using bots to respond to emails much of the time as they have too many emails to answer individually. So, what better way to answer a bot, than a bot answer??

Key takeaway for anyone desiring to make a few bucks on Fiverr. Advertise that they can reinstate hijacking brands or don't get paid. This is a no brainer. People are charging hundreds of $$ for this service and it only takes a few minutes with AI.

Hope this helps someone that is looking for a start....

Well when the chat AI starts training on previous output from chat AIs, we'll see how deep the rabbit hole really goes. Maybe they'll write books too, and then write the reviews of the books. When the same messages are repeated so many times that we never hear anything else, will we break out in a burst of creative rebellion, or just be trapped in the same patterns of thought forever?

but often contained factual errors.

I had it describe my small city and it had a couple of errors.

Stuff like generic 500-word articles someone might order on fiverr.

And yet, this is basically the first page of Google which is now trash. The answer to a simple question is now buried in 10 paragraphs of SEO filler.

I can start a blog in a couple minutes and have 300 articles written in a day
View attachment 46220

the playground is basically instant I can't believe it. the normal chat thing takes a while.
OTOH there wouldn't be demand for the blog because people can ask ChatGPT direct.

After running a few dozen enquiries into the AI I've formed my initial thesis on how this will impact us (hope we can all add to this discussion). If I just type vague questions, it returns platitudes (still great though). It requires some inside-knowledge to ask educated questions to get more specialised answers.

1. Shallow informational websites/blogs will become obsolete. (just ask AI for vague questions; why rely on a stranger's opinion on the internet instead?)

2. The internet will become more specialised. You would still google search a question if ChatGPT gave you a platitude. The only blogs that remain are ones that required skilled knowledge to start, even if ChatGPT wrote it for you.

For e.g.
Bad website in the future: How to write good copy to sell X product (too vague)
Good website in the future: How to write copy that invokes interest to sell X product
Better website in the future (multi-page):
  • How to write copy that shows health benefits to invoke interest to sell X product.
  • How to write copy that shows monetary benefits to invoke interest to sell X product.
  • Etc...
Gone are the days of vague, entry-level information. More demand for specialised information.

As a copywriter, I've used (Jasper) AI for over a year. I haven't written a single piece of AI-free content in that time, with AI helping to write whitepapers, web copy, promotional copy, etc. ChatGPT looks to be taking everything one step further.

However, the writing industry has its head in the sand. Honestly, if you're not using it to write your content, why? I can't seem to log in to ChatGPT (it just takes me back to the log-in page again and again), but there's a reason why I'm building a physical business and shiting from the writing industry. There's still time, but the clock is ticking.

Looks like the tool has crashed. The website is saying their servers are experiencing high usage and they are trying to scale up.

I have some interesting theories and questions about this tool, I'd love to hear others opinions.

-
If this is an openly available and publicly released tool then what sort of tools are available to massive corporations internally, governments to conduct influence campaigns, military/military planners, election strategy tools. We all know about how Cambridge Analytica leveraged Facebook back in 2016. What tools are currently being used and if you don't have access to them are you at a massive disadvantage within a democracy. I know we have all felt a "culture war" being waged over the last ten years.. are there super tools pushing this?

- We've seen some interesting videos of Putin that look almost completely real but have a few tell tail signs of manipulation. Will similar tools allow video to be generated of Putin at a rally speaking that are completely trained off previous events datasets so the event may never have taken place but it can be broadcast to look like one has?

- I think instead of copywriters etc we will now have higher level jobs within the space. So for example, instead of 5 copywriters we'll now have 1 person inputting queries, compiling the results and editing them for enhanced clarity... so I don't think we've reached the end of the "expert" yet. Going back in history we used to have rooms full of people writing on typewriters, printing, sorting, delivering etc... now you have a few people in an office, all digital, instantaneous delivery between computers. I think this could have the same level of impact but ultimately will still have to be supervised by a human.

I can't help but see millions of people typing billions of search terms into a big free tool that brings back answers and that one day might have ads triggered by said search terms so advertisers can get in front of people the moment they do a search...

Or as MJ already said... "a Google killer" since that's what Google is.

The question is, how do you leverage that.

I guess, that it is not a good idea to use this to become a copywriter. If one does that, it would have to be the way @Fox describes it in his videos. Working with the problems people have and trying to solve them. That's the only way to charge more than pennies. The question is wheter this is sustainable in the long run.

Does anyone have any other ideas (especially for people without a tech background)?

When the answer is instantly available, what will matter most is the questions you are asking.

If you want to get paid well = focus on strategy and deep understanding of the problem.

Check it out (underlined as inputs), it tells you how to make money off it. I like it a lot agree with @MJ DeMarco there is money to be made for early adopters who come up with a decent concept. As @Andy Black the continuation is very powerful. If you are getting repetitive content just put different instructions / continuations to get what you want.

Imagine a future AI that can program complex stuff especially if it can take existing inputs. Boom the programming profession is under significant threat albeit of course space for expert handlers and troubleshooters.

Just for the use case of entrepreneurial research this feels like a game changer to me.

how can I leverage chat gpt to make money?

One way to leverage a chat GPT (generative pre-trained transformer) to make money is to use it to provide conversational services to businesses or individuals. For example, you could use the GPT to create a chatbot that can provide customer support, answer frequently asked questions, or assist with online transactions. You could then charge businesses or individuals for access to the chatbot, or offer it as a subscription-based service.

Another way to leverage a chat GPT to make money is to use it to create custom conversational experiences for businesses or individuals. For example, you could use the GPT to create personalized chatbots that can provide personalized recommendations, answer personalized questions, or engage in personalized conversations with users. You could then charge businesses or individuals for access to these custom chatbots, or offer them as a premium service.

You could also leverage a chat GPT to create conversational content for businesses or individuals. For example, you could use the GPT to generate custom scripts for chatbot conversations, or to create personalized responses to customer inquiries or feedback. You could then sell this content to businesses or individuals who are looking to improve their chatbot experiences.

Overall, there are many potential ways to leverage a chat GPT to make money, depending on your specific skills and interests. The key is to identify a need or opportunity in the market, and to use the GPT to create a valuable and unique service or product that meets that need.

what other opportunities excluding conversational and chatbot services?

In addition to conversational and chatbot services, there are several other opportunities that you could explore to leverage a chat GPT to make money. Here are a few examples:
  1. Content creation: You could use the GPT to generate custom content for businesses or individuals. For example, you could use the GPT to create personalized blog posts, articles, social media posts, or other types of written content. You could then sell this content to businesses or individuals who are looking to improve their online presence or engage with their audience.
  2. Language translation: You could use the GPT to create a language translation service that uses the GPT to translate text or speech from one language to another. You could offer this service to businesses or individuals who need to communicate with audiences in multiple languages.
  3. Personalization: You could use the GPT to create personalized experiences for businesses or individuals. For example, you could use the GPT to create personalized recommendations for products or services, or to create personalized responses to customer inquiries or feedback. You could then sell these personalized experiences to businesses or individuals who are looking to improve their customer interactions.
  4. Research and analysis: You could use the GPT to assist with research and analysis tasks. For example, you could use the GPT to analyze large amounts of text data, such as customer reviews or social media posts, and generate insights and recommendations based on that data. You could then sell these insights and recommendations to businesses or individuals who are looking to gain a better understanding of their customers or market.
Overall, there are many potential opportunities to leverage a chat GPT to make money, depending on your specific skills and interests. The key is to identify a need or opportunity in the market, and to use the GPT to create a valuable and unique service or product that meets that need.

state 10 more ideas and don't repeat any you have already mentioned

  1. Automatic summarization: You could use the GPT to create a service that automatically summarizes long pieces of text, such as articles or reports. You could then sell this service to businesses or individuals who need to quickly and easily understand large amounts of information.
  2. Sentiment analysis: You could use the GPT to create a service that analyzes the sentiment of text, such as customer reviews or social media posts. You could then sell this service to businesses or individuals who are looking to understand the sentiment of their audience or customers.
  3. Text generation: You could use the GPT to generate custom text for businesses or individuals. For example, you could use the GPT to create personalized poems, songs, or other creative works. You could then sell these custom text creations to businesses or individuals who are looking for unique and creative content.
  4. Speech recognition: You could use the GPT to create a speech recognition service that can convert spoken words into text. You could then sell this service to businesses or individuals who need to transcribe spoken words, such as in the case of audio or video recordings.
  5. Sentence completion: You could use the GPT to create a sentence completion service that can help users finish sentences or paragraphs. You could then sell this service to businesses or individuals who need help with writing or editing, such as students or writers.
  6. Dialogue generation: You could use the GPT to generate custom dialogue for businesses or individuals. For example, you could use the GPT to create personalized scripts for customer service interactions, or to generate responses to common customer inquiries. You could then sell these custom dialogue scripts to businesses or individuals who are looking to improve their customer interactions.
  7. Data augmentation: You could use the GPT to create a data augmentation service that can generate additional data based on a given dataset. You could then sell this service to businesses or individuals who are looking to expand their datasets or improve their machine learning models.
  8. Text classification: You could use the GPT to create a text classification service that can automatically categorize text into different categories or classes. You could then sell this service to businesses or individuals who are looking to organize and analyze large amounts of text data.
  9. Text normalization: You could use the GPT to create a text normalization service that can convert text into a consistent and standardized format. You could then sell this service to businesses or individuals who are looking to clean and organize their text data.
  10. Text simplification: You could use the GPT to create a text simplification service that can convert complex text into simpler, more easily understandable language. You could then sell this service to businesses or individuals who are looking to make their text more accessible to a wider audience.

Well it rarely works for me any longer as it always times out. Apparently the big secret is out and it is taxing the system.

This isn't killing anything, any time soon.

I mean in terms of information search. I've already used this several times over Google and saved myself countless minutes of worthless filtering. I'm not using it to create SEO "content marketing" junk that fills the SERPS with useless phrases and keywords.

"AI will only replace low tier workers, office drones and repetitive jobs" is a common retort from people who think they're "higher up" in the food chain and that they're untouchable by AI.

Eventually, AI will come for them as well. It's the eventuality of things. On the whole, AI is still not even in the beta phase yet and there's a long series of multiple major breakthroughs to come in due time. It should be able to replace even the top management of any company.
Like how AI chess made a joke out of the world's best player.
Technology doesn't "replace" people; it just changes what they do and how they do it.

We can't even use a Roomba to clean the floor of the office. Janitors are irreplaceable. (Company CINTAS even rents out rugs to businesses that it washes and replaces weekly instead of vacuuming)

I just think theory and practice are very different, and there is a vast chasm between the academic idea of AI (or any technology) and what's actually going on in the real world of business. It's usually a lot messier and "get 'er done" than you think.

I have been using ChatGPT a lot lately. IT IS AMAZING. I'll probably stop using Google search and start using this full-time.

The way the AI scraps through large amounts of data are insane. It takes some time to type out the answer, but the quality is superior to any search engine out there.

Whether you're a student writing your assignments, a programmer finding some code or an entrepreneur finding some good advice, ChatGPT got you covered.
It's a great tool. I still prefer finding authoritative sites and reading their content though. I especially miss an actual opinion and people pinning their flag to a mast.

Note that if everyone uses ChatGPT instead of Google it's reducing visits to the websites people found via Google. So those sites are getting scraped but not attributed to or rewarded with a visit? What's their incentive to post any new content if AI chat will scrape it and not attibute or link back to it? It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Well one thing that will stop this from being a "google killer" is every time I open it up to use it, it is unavailable.

Lol, I am trying something here and ChatGPT keeps giving me these woke a$$ disclaimers after its paragraph:

"I would suggest using more carefull wording in your future marketing, as promoting idea that being fit and attractive would make people more successful or happier than others could be seen as harmful to self-esteem, and also some people have disabilities that does not allow them to be "fit" or "attractive" by societal standards."

"Note again that being fit and attractive does not guarantee success or happiness and that promoting such idea could be potentially harmful to some people self-esteem."

What a load of shit. Being and getting fit is 100% a factor in increasing your self esteem and feeling better about yourself. I can feel like an absolute bag of trash, and getting a little bit of exercise in 9/10 times helps me to feel better.

I don't care if you have no legs and are in a wheelchair, you are telling me that that person won't feel better eating a healthy meal and going for a roll and doing whatever they can for exercise to get their heart rate up? Life sometimes sucks, but we are literally living inside flesh bags that need to be physically nourished and exercised in order to run optimally. Should we start advocating that we stop changing out cars oil and tires because it is hurtful to cars that are running on old tires and don't get oil changes?
