After becoming a mom a year ago, I found myself reflecting on my career as a production manager in the film industry. During those late nights with my newborn daughter, I realized it wasn't the path I wanted to pursue long-term. Fortunately, listening to the Fastlane audiobook sparked a new direction.
Several years ago, I took over a small ecommerce side hustle selling natural cosmetic products. I've received fantastic feedback from customers, and the products have tremendous potential. While my mentor was invaluable in teaching me the basics and infrastructure, her insistence on maintaining the status quo of the website became a roadblock to growth.
I initially viewed this as an obstacle, but now I see it as a valuable learning experience. This first venture has ignited my passion for creating my own natural product brand.
