I'm a little late to this game compared to many of you.

When I was reading the Fastlane Millionaire, I was constantly reading about independence when you were 35 or younger and I would cringe. I'm about 15 years to late or so....

However, I decided that it isn't too late. I've had a good life but it could be better and I'm going to do what I can to make it fantastic.

For me, the goals are just freedom and no schedule. I'm a software developer by trade and have some ideas that I'm mulling over. I have some other ideas in non-software related processes. All I have to do now is start the work.

Anyway, thanks for your time and I hope to talk to you all sometime in the future!

Scott

Lol, you aren't late. Actually you are in your prime earning years. Put in the work here and watch how quickly you progress compared to those "young bucks" :)

Welcome to the forum, read a lot and ask the best questions you can.

If you measure time, you may be a little late. If you measure experience and a highly developed skill set, you're starting out WAY ahead of the majority of people.

You can learn volumes in a decade, which I am sure you have. Think positive and focus ONLY on your strengths. Success is a team sport.

Welcome and good luck ~

Read the intro about Rose Blumkin, who started Nebraska Furniture Mart, sold it to Berkshire at age 89, then opened a competing store across the street at 95. She worked 70 hr weeks on a motorized cart. It's never too late to do more than you did the day before.
