Fastlaners and wannafastlaners!
At my day job I come across some people who every day provide big value, produce goods, help people, provide jobs and make a lot of money doing it. Certain industries / markets keep cropping up. A common theme for people on the forum is being stuck for ideas, so have a few for free (ps these are just off the top of my head, hope they are ok in here and not in INE, I don't really think they deserve to be there)
Offline Sectors / markets that keep appearing when I meet clients with big bank balances (and a couple of lines on how you can get in on the action)
Kitchen cabinets - seriously, its like every other factory I go to is borrowing money to get a bigger factory to make more kitchen cabinets. Could you learn a few joinery skills or partner with a joiner and use some of the excellent advice in @IceCreamKid 's wonderful Carpet cleaning thread to direct market the heel out of yourselves and fit all of these new kitchens for people?
Plumbing supplies - people change bathrooms very frequently these days, much more than they used to and the trend seems to be moving away from DIY. I've seen some huge warehouses where plumbing supplies are kept and distributed, different companies and different people all making money passing them on to trade stores. Plumbers are crazy busy and they all need spares! Could you fill a van with the most used plumbing consumables / spares, give out your details and deliver to plumbers on the job?
Caravan Supplies - absolutely huge market, people take these seriously and spend a lot of cash on them. I met the director of the second largest manufacturer of caravan beds in the uk last week because he wants to cram another manufacturing unit onto his already too busy site. All these caravans need accessories! Do you think you can get a metal fabricator to make you some steps that would fit in front of a caravan and sell them on ebay? Why not? Could you get them certifed with some kitemark as safe? Could you sell one? A hundred? Could you build some super slim storage boxes? could you get some from china? Could you joint venture with a caravan park to rent our accessories to caravan users while they're on holiday? I don't know why I'm asking you, you're just a computer.

Really enjoyed your licensing thread. similar to what I'm working on and you came across a few helpful things so thank you.
Listen to @Andy Black when he says help people. Help people get a nice new kitchen fitted properly so it look like it did in the catalogue, help plumbers provide a better service to customers, help people who've spent lots of money on a caravan to have a nice holiday get in and out without breaking their leg. Help people and everything should fall into place.
pps if you want to ask why I haven't done any of these, shush I'm trying to focus on my one thing and you're not helping.
