Hey man. Most of us have had these "what if" moments in our lives and not just with money. You've got a lot of experience for being only 17 and as long as you don't stop going after your goals, you WILL succeed.

You seem very focused on the past and my advice would be to let that go. Instead of pondering over the what ifs, be grateful that you had the drive to start doing this shit when you were just 13.

You didn't fail. On the contrary, you have a fantastic portfolio. Leverage your success with the game and YouTube channel to land some good Upwork gigs. There's a lot of money there and the connections you can make are invaluable and will lead to a lot of external work.

OR start sending emails to some game design studios so you can get recruited. Go big here, don't settle for a small indie studio. I think you know how to leverage and sell yourself at this point. And you'd be surprised how life-changing an email can be.
