What would you prefer having more money but having to work 5 days or having less money(and hence more average lifestyle) but having all the time in the world ?

What exactly is retired?

Can any true entrepreneur retire?

Wasting time on this mental masturbation will get you neither.

I'd have thought Christian Tello could easily make both of them numbers

Hey cristian,
Some people can be a bit blunt at the forum so don't take it to heart!
I think the major issue was your question was a bit vague/unspecific. 10m over how long? 1 year at 5 days a week? or did you mean 10 years at 5 days a week? It wasnt specified
Also as others have said, what does retired mean in this context.

Wasting time on this mental masturbation will get you neither.

I don't fully agree with CommonCents....I think it can be a waste of time, but MJ does actually look at this topic in his book. i.e. How much would you need to fund your ideal lifestyle, and he goes through a step by step formula to get some concrete figures.
It was a really good insight for me, and helped me understand concrete numbers of what I wanted and why.

Who the hell wants to stop at 10M?

It depends on one's goals. I personally am not motivated by the lavish lifestyle. I would be very happy living a middle class/upper middleclass lifestyle, but with plenty of 'free' time,... living off the interest on 10million would easily fund that.

The secret is Autonomy.

Truly feeling autonomous and working 5 days/week as an entrepreneur is absolutely worth the 10M. Much more than 1M retired.
