Hey everyone,

I know a lot of people on here do web design and I'd like to better understand what typically happens AFTER the web design process.

If you're a freelance web designer, own an agency, or even work for an agency, I'd greatly appreciate hearing your experience thoughts in this quick survey (takes less than 2 minutes): Web Designer Survey

All responses are anonymous.

Thank you for helping out with this and best of luck with your web design journey!

Hah, I skimmed your post and basically skipped to the link. First question: "are you a web designer?" "No.""Thanks for your response!"

That was quick haha. Good luck.

While you can have a preference when selling a lot of the time it is going to depend on a few factors:

- What is the clients budget
- Do they even want/need ongoing support
- If they do to what degree (a little / a lot)
- Do they want extra ongoing services like SEO or ads

Also, things like how the site was built and what the website actually does are going to be a factor too.
There is a huge difference between a basic HTML website and a full e-commerce store.
