I offer services that can benefit the aforementioned target market, but I'm not sure what's the best point of contact. I'm thinking of going on the seller page then 'Ask a Question'. What do you think?

Any help or ideas are appreciated.

We used to get a lot of spam through that messaging method but not recently. Guessing amazon has gotten better about removing those types of messages.

I wouldn’t think it would be effective for you but you could try it out and see for yourself.

Who is your actual ideal client? “Amazon seller” is pretty broad, who can your services help? What size business? What problems does the business have?

Ah, thanks for the insight @1step. I do listing optimization and I'm currently learning PPC, so anyone that's brand registered would be an ideal client for copy, and anyone doing over $2500 a month in revenue, a potential PPC client.

How about leave a one star review?
Only the good ones will get back to you.
Self-qualifying prospects, it's the holy grail of sales.

Leave a 1 star review then try to sell them my services? Lol...sarcasm? If not, please explain how that would work.

Don't they have official amazon forum?

EDIT: Amazon Seller Forums

But might be seen as spam so maybe look for unofficial sellers forums and advertise there.
Yup...I don't want to be spammy, and definitely don't want my buying account to get banned. I'm not selling on Amazon, but I think I'd have to sign up for a sellers account to access that forum. I wouldn't mind to be honest.

Definitely don't do that. Everyone deletes those message and reports it as spam.

Have you ever sold on Amazon?

I suspected that that was the case. Thanks for confirming. No, I've never sold on Amazon.

There is old trick to buy ads in google targeted at login pages.
I don't know if that would work today like for keyword "amazon seller central" and advertise something for amazon sellers there.
(for example "amazon seller central login" is real keyword typed by people in Google, that's common shortcut people take)
Might be worth a try.
Although there is a risk of google account ban.

The other way would be to work personally with, say 5, sellers that offer somehow their contact email (own site or own brand). Do good job and ask them later for referrals, assuming that sellers know other sellers.

So basically you’re looking for people who are too busy (or no interest) in doing those things themself. I am guessing those people also aren’t going to be answering the messages that they get through amazon. They would likely hire an assistant to do that. Possibly they would be answering the messages but I would think more often than not the people who would use your service aren’t going to be the ones who see your message.
I would find their website and send an email and/or call their customer service number to find the person you would need to talk to. There’s also likely a chance the person you need to reach watches their social media dms. I think you’d have a better chance with both of those. Those are the ways you’d reach me and others I know.
The real question is what are you even going to say to convince someone like me to use your services?

Assuming you can actually deliver on your promises:

1) Write a compelling case study that shows before and after results (page views, conversions, revenue, etc)

2) Join several Linkedin/FB groups for sellers, and share your results with the intent of helping people-- no obligation or pitching. Answer questions, provide feedback and value overall.

3) Offer a free audit or some other compelling hook to those that reach out.

Make sure with all this that you provide actual value in your content that legit helps people, not disguised spam. You can browse the groups for ideas on problems that people are struggling with and figure out how you can help.

Also consider that whatever you're offering is likely a commodity, so you have to figure out what you can do that's unique, better, cheaper, etc.

I was going to recommend exactly this strategy

There are many Amazon FB Groups and I belong to a few. Having an Amazon side biz when AZ Algorithm changes, sales dips. If you have a proven system on listing optimization + using AZ ASL with low ACOS, yes, I will listen

As well, check out IG Login • Instagram ...
1. Follow those who comment (engaged users)
2. Then send a DM, however, don't pitch them 1st time, instead, build a relationship first, perhaps say, "Hey Name, saw your comment on Amazon's post - do you have a store on Amazon?" <<-- something like that
