Hello Everyone,

My name is Gyula. I'm a 33 years old man from Hungary.

After graduating from high school I had to start earning money. Since I didn't know any better back then I got myself a job. I lost that job when the recession hit our economy. For the next 4 years I was having a lot of different dead-end jobs.
When I was 25 I had no money, debts started to pile up and I felt weak and unhealthy. That's when I realized that it can not go like this any longer. I made a decision to change my life for the better.

Since then 8 years have passed. I am fitter and stronger than ever. I got myself a BSc degree in IT with excellent grades and currently working on and MSc degree. I would say for me this formal education was worth the effort. I got myself a state scholarship so didn't pay a dime only had to invest my time but it helped me to broaden my world view

In the process I also paid down my debt and built up a money system where I have some money already invested. I am good enough with numbers so i see the "equation". No matter how much more I educate myself, how many certifications I get as a paid employee I will never be able to earn enough to get rich by feeding that money system.

So I started to look for answers once again. I've read multiple books about finances and investing, decent books but didn't gave me the answers I was looking for. Then came across some guru books. Those just didn't feel right and I sensed a lot of inconsistencies.
So I kept looking and found The Millionaire Fastlane . Now that I've read it it's time join the forums keep educating myself and start my fastlane journey.

I keep hearing people say that.
Why all the hate on getting jobs? Jobs are great!!
Just don't fall into the trap of taking a job because of the paycheck (like I did)... take one that can teach you something.

Congrats! Getting school for free is an investment with a HUGE return.

Best of luck to you. What's your next step? Any ideas yet?

Thank you.

Well the first jobs I had weren't great. And yes I choose them for the paycheck and if I had the chance to earn more at a different job i just jumped ship. That was not really smart.

When I realized things aren't working I started to pick jobs strategically. Went for the jobs where I had the chance to improve myself and study. Currently I work at a big multinational firm where I have access to very expensive IT systems and to an electronic library with thousands of books. It has clear advantages indeed but leverage is missing.

I am thinking about starting an internet business. Haven't found my niche yet. But that's not a problem yet.
I am sure I will figure it out while I'm mastering my web programming skills.

I believe you are spot on. Even MJ had jobs :smile2: That's where we can learn and get ideas. The danger - and yes I fell into this trap - is when we get so comfortable with the pay check that we stop pursuing our dreams. I say all this as a slow lane driver who sees the fast lane but hasn't found the exit ramp.
