Hey Everyone! I own my own agency called PJ The Email Guy. I am a 22 year old college student from Olney, Maryland. For the last three years I have built a business finding email addresses for business owners, CEOs, and executives. I spend hours researching online to find them and then pay to have them verified so none bounce.

I have built this business mainly from my personal Facebook profile where I am friends with 5,000 entrepreneurs and have worked with over 100 customers. But my goal is to scale.

I did $2,000 in sales in 2016 and over $35,000 in 2017. This year I hired two other college students to assist me.

90% of my customers are agency's. Some of the agency's I've worked with are Jodel Media, Speakeasy Marketing, NuMedia, etc.

You can see a recent testimonial here:

Wow, surprised no interest thus far. Some good lists here, just had someone the other day saying she wanted to start a make-up company.

7,000 golf courses - $840

To clarify - if I buy the list of 7,000 golf course owners (for example)...

1. Does this mean that nobody else will have access to the list and I'd be the only one with it?

As opposed to 5 other people sending out emails to them too...

2. Does this also mean that I can finally get @SteveO 's email address after all of these years?

Was just talking about this subject with someone yesterday. I'll share your info with him in case he's interested. Looks like you've got at least one industry he could use.

Very interesting...
Any concerns or issues with the 'Can Spam Act'?
I doubt you have anything to worry about(although I'm no expert in it), but just curious if it's come up before with clients?

2. I'll see what I can dig up!

The clinic email is usually the vets email for most of these (in my general experience)

Unfortunately, that's not the case.

Vets are notoriously hard to reach. You can call their office and get their email easy. But I've yet to reach an actual vet by email (other than personal emails) even when their assistants say they will forward it the email to them.

Great offer. I wish you success. And that you're building this while in college is even more impressive!

One tip about your pitch: there's a glaring grammar error you repeat that makes your copy less professional.

You mix up possessives with plurals. It's "agencies," rather than "agency's." The same rule applies to "companies" and "bakeries."

Pendantic grammar lesson over.

So last week I got a call from a local trade show wanting me to get a booth. The booth was $500. I was on the fence.

But then they said that you also get the emails of all attendees of this event and for the past 5 years. They said the list was 10,000 people. This obviously made signing up a no brainer.

@Scot not sure if this is in the budget and I know another member gave you a list already... CTRL+F "Grocery Stores".

Thanks but I’ve had better luck tracking down direct dontacts through LinkedIn so far. Generic emails to grocery stores will just go to a black hole.
