19 years old looking for luck

Hi, I'm an Italian guy that has recently moved in Gran Canaria to find my vocation and get better with women . I've just left university (medicine) after 2 weeks I was doing it. I also gave up a career in a minor sport (judo) as it would have allowed me to barely earn a living . Anyway right now I'm reading The Fastlane and I've planned to read Unscripted . My actual intention is to start a business, would you raccomend a social marketing businnes? Any tips?

Welcome lots of good info on this site my number 1 tip would be to get reading and take action on any ideas. And your title.. its not luck you need its hard work and dedication bud

If you think you can add value doing social marketing, do it. Otherwise, find a way to add value to people and build a business around it.

I wish I could add more. I am learning a skill in order to tap some opportunities. I have yet to learn/try anything beyond that.

Read both books before going forward, and you'll see why your current mindset is flawed.

Also, F*ck luck. Each action you take has a probability of success attached to it. Work on increasing that probability of success by working on yourself. For example, if @MJ DeMarco started a new business, his probability of it being successful would be maybe 65% (made up number). Yours would likely be 2% or lower. You need to work on getting that 2% higher.

Yeah, luck plays a role in it, but that doesn't discredit the fact that you control your own future.
