Every single day, people attached to this forum are doing amazing breakthrough revolutionary things.

Today I talked to someone I met a few years ago through the forum.

On the heels of a few business failures, he was looking for his next thing at that time. No money in the bank, a couple of scars on his hands, but a Fast Lane perspective.

Fast forward a few years.

He's about to do something that all of you will recognize. He's about to change an industry. And... when I say "about to" I am not saying he has an idea. His idea turned into action, and now reality.

By next year, you all will be able to see what he did.

But this thread isn't about him.

It's about you.

While he was doing this, what were you doing?

Rewind the clock two years ago. Where were you?

Where are you now?

If you read the Millionaire Fast Lane two years ago, or Unscripted two months ago...

where are you at?

Are you still just surfing a forum hoping some money falls out of it and into your lap?

I can tell you his grind was brutal. Nobody believed in what he was doing. He was poor. Had a cheap place. Started from scratch. Nobody handed him anything.

While he was grinding, what were you doing? Tell me you were not playing Call of Duty.

730 days ago was 2 years ago. How did you spend those days?

And most importantly, since you can't get any of those 730 days back...

what are you doing today?

Are we going to read about YOU in two years? Or are you still going to be here, holding your "joystick" and reading about other people?

Every day, on this forum and around it, people are making shit happen. Every. Single. Day.

My friend from here is going to be on the map. He might never have to work again.

What about you?

I'll play.

Here's something I posted on the forum 4 years ago:

"I work 11-12 hour days so I can relate. There's the constant gnawing inside of me that wants to retire from the day job and do my own thing. However, being married, and soon to be expecting a kid, I just can't afford the risk."

A week from now I will have closed on the sale of my first business. *fingers crossed*

I haven't had a day-job, or worn slacks or a tie, in 16 months.

It's all thanks to this forum. And @Runum for giving me some tough love early on.

This is exactly my position now. I have a business in motion, but it has been a slow process. It's so hard to look forward a year and see me getting away from the day job when what I see happening today seems like such a distant reality.

I get so tired from 12 hour days that I tend to distract myself in activities that don't push me forward because I need to recharge. It's actually quite embarrassing when I'm standing here looking up at giants.

Those 11-12 hours days plus a family are real.

Thankfully, I don't fall for the streaming TV and video game scene anymore (my younger self hates what I've become lol). The one thing I can say that I do consistently is learn more about the process. I don't always have time to read the forum's GOLD threads but I do loop through audio books and frequently discuss process with others. I can't wait until my feats award me more time

Wow. This hits home. I am going to somehow write/fit this onto the tape side of a post it note and stick it on my forehead for the next two years! Thank you for providing such an eye opening perspective.

Damn this post is real AF. 2 years ago I was doing the most dumbest shit and action faking so hard. I even wasted so much time playing COD Black Ops 3 Zombies.

Joined this forum Oct 2016, and since I've been improving my life, little by little, ingraining the knowledge into my brain. I even got a progress thread here and working on that.

Journey is not easy at all but the grind is so worth it. Someday, I want to share my success on this forum too.

Giving this a much needed bump.

I'll admit that looking back on myself stung in a few places. I can only direct my eyes towards the road ahead of me right now. I want to I'm going to look back at this post in two years with genuine appreciation for how far I've come.
