Hey Guys!
I'm 20 years old, currently studying at University. I've read Millionaire Fastlane maybe a year ago and now it's time to really act on the knowledge I've gained. I'm currently working as a hotel receptionist (and thinking about changing the job for sth better). I have some money saved up (but not too much) and I always dreamed of having my own business, especially on the rules of fastlane.
I'm a big believer of working on your daily habits and for me it works best if we talk about real and long-term change. So recently I came up with an idea - to start a daily habit of working on my own business.
The thing is: I don't know where to start and how to plan my way into this dream. First I start working on my business 20 minutes a day (not to gain results, just to make a habit stick) for 2 weeks, then every week I will add 10 minutes to that time. It's based on the rules that Leo Babauta talks about on his blog. But I don't know what's the most important thing I need to do in these minutes right now. I plan to read my notes from Millionaire Fastlane, act on them, ask myself all the questions that are in this book - but what later? I can start reading books about basics of business, but I'm afraid that after some time I will theoretize too much and lose sight of my dream: having my own business, which requires REAL ACTION.
Of course I need a lot of knowledge and I am a newbie. Right. But I'm also eager to go into real action as soon as possible.
What would you do if you were me - 20 years old, no big obligations, no mortgage, etc. - in that time that I plan to spend on creating my business? Would you take another attitude? How would you work on yourself right now if you were me?
Thank you!
