I'm in the process of trying to get samples from a couple of manufacturers in Pakistan, but the prices of shipping seem out-of-this-world excessive. My package is going to be roughly 14"x10"x5" and weight around 15-20lbs. I understand this is fairly heavy, but shipping quotes from Pakistan to Louisiana for 1 package are ranging anywhere from $305 through Fedex to $510 from DHL.

I must be doing something incorrectly. I'm getting these quotes through Fedex and DHL's quote system on their websites. I already have an account setup through Fedex.

Does this seem normal?
