Alright guys, this should be fun. I am just about to launch a my first product for a new pharma company I started. It’s an OTC pain relief gel that would be used in a similar fashion to IcyHot or BenGay. It’s considerably different for a few reasons: It does not burn or sting, is non greasy, odorless and colorless. It’s homeopathic (all natural) and works absolutely amazing on everything from minor sports injuries to arthritis. I personally have used it on sunburn and it’s worked wonders but I can’t claim it works for that use until I do clinicals. 
I am in the process of patenting the product right now. From initial responses, it’s made believers out of almost everyone that has used it. Typical pain relief is experienced within 30 seconds and can last hours if not indefinitely. Most actually think it’s a placebo effect as there is no burning sensation, the pain just goes away. Our initial patented version has already sold over 100k units nationwide in the past few years through word of mouth alone, but I want to launch this version as a completely new product under a new company.
My goal is to prove that you can take a product from its beginning phase and turn it into a solid cash flow positive business within 6 months. I want to put this business in the Fastlane without raising capital. I own the product with a partner and can license it to others, private label it, anything I want.
Would love to hear your thoughts on how you would grow the business starting with $5,000 in capital. If we can get people involved here I will update the thread as it progresses with real sales numbers as well as complimentary product for those that would like to try it out themselves. Hopefully this will serve as motivation for those on the fence about trying to do their own thing as well!
